You: I can't drive.

You: no Tayler, can't you walk home?

Dixie: is your friend coming to get us or not?

You: find your own way home.
You throw your phone in the back of the car and look up, trying not to cry.
Nick: hey... you ok?
You: he called her babe. And I'm apparently just his friend.
Nick: I'm sorry..
You: can I stay with you?
Nick: oh.. yea, but what about Tayler?
You: idk maybe Dixie can move in or something. I really could care less.
Nick: I'm sorry...
You: it's fine. I should have known this wasn't going to last long.

You: Tayler and I are- were kind of dating..
nick: I'm sorry.
You: it's fine Nick. Can we just go get my stuff before he comes home?

You get to Taylers house and run inside with nick to get your bags.
Wendy: hey hunny- oh.. who's this?
You: this is my friend nick, I'm gonna stay with my friend Madi for a while and he offered to drive me.
Wendy: what about Tayler?
Tayler: yea what about me?
You: Tayler?!
Tayler: nick, leave.
You: no. I'm going with him.
Tayler: no you aren't!
You: yes I am.
Tayler: if you go, I'm done.
You: ok you know what Tayler, we're done.
Tayler: no, If you walk out that door you're not welcome here anymore and I'm never talking to you again.
You: bye Tayler.
Tayler: are you stupid?!
You: what?!
Tayler: you could lose all this for that loser?
You: nick is not a loser, bye Tayler.
Tayler: I didn't even like you. I just wanted to keep you away from him.
You: well that didn't work, did it?
You and nick leave, Tayler slams the door behind you.
Nick: I'm sorry.
You: it's not your fault.
Nick: I wanna show you something.
You: what is it?
Nick: we'll have to wait to go because.. we'll you'll see.
you: ok, I can't wait.
You go to nicks house and explain everything to Madi.
Madi: I'm so sorry babe.
You: I should have known.
Madi: so sleepover?!
You: yeah I guess.
Madi: yay!!!
You and Madi go upstairs and talk until she falls asleep. You toss and turn for a while but can't sleep so you decide to go see if Nick is still awake.
Nick: hey
You: you're still awake?
Nick: yea, I can't sleep.
You: me neither.
Nick: wanna come watch tiktoks with me?
You: sure.
After a few minutes you start to doze off laying against Nick.
