Harp pulls into the parking lot next to Kelly's house. Actually, it's not a house; more like a mansion. I unbuckled my seatbelt, opened the door and got out, staring at the gigantic place. Made completely out of marble, it stood 5 stories tall and very wide. A silver-painted gate that stood ten feet tall surrounded the whole mansion with security guards patrolling each corner of the mansion. Lots of cars were already parked in the lot and I could hear loud music blaring.
"Well," Lily said, next to me, "this certainly seems nice.
I arched an eyebrow. "So what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
"I never thought I'll see the day that Quinn Campbell is eager to step foot in a party," Harper mused.
I rolled my eyes.
"Hold up, ladies." One of the security guard stops us.
"Yes?" I said annoyedly.
"May I ask if you three are students of Riverwood High?"
"Of course we are."
The security guard arches a brow. "Prove it."
Lily moves forward, opening her purse. She pulls out a card and raises it to the guard is eye level. "Riverwood High student, senior, Lily Bronze. That proof enough for you?"
The guard looks closely at the card, then grunted and move out of the way. We walked outside as Lily put her card back in her purse and closed it.
"Why'd you bring it with you?" Harper asked.
Lily shrugged. We stepped into the mansion, greeted by music, even louder now that we're inside, people dancing everywhere and getting drunk, couples making out, and everyone wearing masquerade masks. A glittering crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, but it wasn't on, since the room is sort of dark.
"I'm getting drinks!" Lily yelled in my ear.
Harper had already moved on. I glimpsed her dancing with a guy and nodded at Lily who instantly skipped away. I moved through the crowd, cautious. It's so loud and I could barely hear anything. I rounded the corner, bumping into a guy. By the look of him, he's drunk and very drunk.
"Hey baby," he slurred, staggering onto me.
I felt his cold hand on my leg.
"Want to have some fun?"
"Get away from me!" I shrieked, pushing him.
It only made him hold on tighter, his hand traveling up and under my dress and his body on mine, pinning me against the wall. I gagged at his drunk smell.
"So what do you say, hm?" His lips settled on my neck.
Oh my god. I think I'm going to throw up. I let myself go limp, then brought my knee up, kneeling him in the groin. He howled and let me go.
"You bitch!"
I slipped to the side before he could grab me again. He staggered as he tried to walk toward me and puked everywhere before falling in his own vomit. I turned away from him and dashed in the opposite direction, trying hard not to throw up. I burst into a room and leaned against the table, gulping deep breaths of air. Then I looked around saw I was in the kitchen. Great. I could make myself a drink.
"Here," a deep voice said behind me.
I jumped and whirled around, seeing a tall and muscular guy with dark hair. His hair was ruffled and he was tan, and he wore a sparkling black mask. He was also holding two drinks in h8s hands and one of them was held toward me. But my eyes seem to have their own mind and they wandered away from the drinks and down his body. My, but his body sure is toned very well. His black shirt was tight around his body, showing off the hard muscles.
