The Island Of Paradis

In the year 28 AD....

Jackson sat in front of his daughter, after a really exhausting day of training, as he smiled at her, proud of how far she has come over the course of one year. "Father. I wanted to ask you something." The ten year old Swan said, as her father smiled at them. "Go on. Ask me anything, musume." Jackson replied, as Swan pointed at the Survey Corps emblem that he had placed on the wall of his study.

"You want to know about my time in the Survey Corps?" Jackson asked, and the young Swan nodded her head. "Alright then. I suppose that it's only natural that you want to know, after I used mindless titans to help you with your training." Jackson replied, as he began to tell her everything about his time serving in the Survey Corps.

A Few Centuries ago....

Jackson looked at Scarlet, who was saying goodbye to him for now, since he was leaving Gensokyo for a while. "I wish you safe travels." Scarlet said, as she hugged her son tightly. "Take care of yourself, Mom." He replied, as he got onto his boat, after he said goodbye to his mother, and then the boat left the shores of Gensokyo, as it sailed on the open seas.

Two weeks later....

Jackson has been sailing for about 2 weeks, not finding a single island whatsoever. All of a sudden, he saw an island on the horizon, as he made his way towards it. He got off his boat after bringing it to the shores of the island, and he began to walk towards Wall Maria.

At this point, Titans were not roaming outside of the walls, so there are currently checkpoints at the gates of each wall, to keep an eye out for invaders. "You there. State your reasoning for being here!" A female Survey Corps member said, as she went over to Jackson. "I wanted to see what was going on here. I recently said goodbye to my mother, because I wanted to explore the world. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that I caused." Jackson said, as he turned around, about to leave.

"Oh no I'm not telling you to leave. I'm sorry for any misinformation. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Raphtalia. I am the current commander of the Survey Corps." The woman said, as Jackson shook her hand. "My name is Jackson Scarlet. I am the current heir to the Scarlet family, a clan of vampires that rule over the country of Gensokyo." Jackson replied, as he smiled at Raphtalia. "It is nice to meet you too." Jackson said, as he sat on a stool in front of Raphtalia.

"So what is the Survey Corps?" He asked, as he was curious about what it was. "We are the military forces that defend the island from any threats, and we are Loyal Servants to the Fritz bloodline. I was born in Marley, a country that exists beyond the ocean. I joined the Survey Corps when I was only 10 years, and I passed through all of the trials with flying colours, which eventually got me the honour of being the commander of the Survey Corps in its entirety." Raphtalia replied, sighing as Jackson smiled at her.

"May I join the Survey Corps?" Jackson asked, which actually made Raphtalia jump. "Wow...You're very eager aren't you? Well I do trust you now, so maybe I will grant you your request." Raphtalia said, as she held her hand out for Jackson to shake again. "Welcome to the Survey Corps, Jackson." She said, as she shook Jackson's hand, and she took him into the headquarters of the Survey Corps, which was located in the innermost wall on the island.
