Nae POV
I got woke up to my phone ringing . I grabbed my phone and it was Pooh .
" I need you to go with me somewhere ." She said .
" Where ?" I asked her .
" To my hometown I need to go get Leah . They not letting her out the hospital unless somebody come and sign the discharge papers ." She said.
" What happen to her ?" I asked
" She got in a car accident ." Pooh said .
" Ight give me a minute ." I said .
" okay I'm gone come get you in like 30 minutes ." Pooh said .
" okay ." I said while hanging up .
I hope she sit her ass down now .
I tried to get out of bed but Saint wrapped his arms around me tighter .
" Kemauri I got to go somewhere ." I said .
" Where you got to go ." He said in a deep raspy voice .
Lord jesus , naw let me not bring him in this .
" Somewhere with Pooh ." I said .
He let me go and I went into the bathroom .
I did everything I needed to do in like 20 minutes . When I got out the bathroom I seen him on the game .
When I close the bathroom door he looked up from the game .
" So where y'all going ?" He asked me .
" To Pooh hometown her sister got in a car accident ." I said .
" Hope she sit her ass down now ." He said .
" That's the same thing I was thinking. " I said shaking my head .
If she don't change after this shit I don't know what to tell Pooh . I mean if she stay with me I could change her , but that involve getting her ass whoop .
" You got to drive to her house ?" He asked me .
" Nope she coming to get me ." I responded back to him .
I was about to go to the kitchen but Saint said something to me .
" Come here ." He said .
" Hold on let me go get some chips ." I said while walking down stairs .
5 minutes later I'm still trying to decide what chips to get . So I decided just to get a little bag of everything .
I went and sat on the couch for about 10 minutes . Black folks always late .
I heard a horn signaling Pooh was outside .
I walked upstairs in the room and seen Saint sitting on the bed like he was waiting for me .
" What ?" I asked him
" Didn't I tell yo ass to come here ?" He asked mugging me .
Oh shit I forgot . I get distracted fast and I forget stuff fast .
" My fault I forgot but Pooh outside ." I said .
He stood up and walked towards me .
When he got to me he grabbed my chin and kissed me .
" Aye don't go up there and be shooting people ." He said
He wrapped his arms around my waist and brung me closer to him .
