Location: Vale ((Time)) 3:52am

The shattered moon shone down on the city of Vale, alongside Mistral, Vacuo, and Atlas. Vale is one of the four major kingdoms in the world of remnant. Protected by safe walls that keep the darkness from the outer world getting into the kingdom. The darkness kown as Grimm. Creatures born out of black pools of annihlation that take the form of animals, or more nightmarish monstrosites. One of the only things that has been proven by since about Grimm is that they are attracted to negative emotions, and will attack a surrounding area of where those said emotions are gathered. But, if they are defeated and or 'killed' they will dissolve into black dust before being dragged away by the wind. But little do the people of remnant know, Grimm aren't the only monsters out in the world. Some are even hiding inside their precious kingdoms ready to strike...

Three sets of footsteps can be heard through one of the many alleyways of Vale. Walking down the narrow path was a woman with a red dress on, yellows vine like designs covered the dress but not to much. There were two people walking beside her, a girl on her right and a boy on her left. The other girl was wearing a white and black top with a mint green vest, a pair of baggy black and white pants and brown high heel boots. The boy wears a gray and black jacket with a hood on the collar, a pair of black jeans with a brown leather belt holding it up, and a pair of black shoes with what appeared to be gauntlets around his ankles. The two girls had their hands by their sides as the boy had his in his jacket pockets. "Are we there yet?" The boy would ask, looking at the two girls. The one with mint hair and red eyes looked at him with an annoyed look. "Mercury! for the last time we are not there yet! Can you please just shut u-" before the mint haired girl could finish, the girl in front of the two stopped and spoke up. "Emerald!" She would say raising her voice, annoyance could be heard very clearly in it. The two now known as Mercury and Emerald would stop and look at the girl. "Cinder, I was just-" Emerald would try to protest, but Cinder would speak up. "Quite." Cinder's voice was demanding, sounding as if she could do something to Emerald at any moment. Which she could. Emerald would flinch back a bit, Cinder then looking up at Mercury. "Yes, Mercury. We're here." Cinder would answer Mercury's repeated question on the way to their location. Cinder didn't really care about the constant question every so and so minutes, but Emerald knew Mercury was just doing it to annoy her specifically.

Cinder would look away from her two assets and look up at the building in front of her. It seemed to be rundown, unlike the other buildings in Vale which were kept well. This one was just made out of plain brown brick with a door and some windows, going up about five floors. Cinder would look back down at the front door, above it hung a neon sign that read 'The Chimaera Bar'. "Interesting name." Mercury would comment, both Cinder and Emerald would ignore him as Cinder made her way up to the front door. It seemed to be stained oak wood with a gold painted door knob. Cinder would reach and grab the knob, twisting it and pushing it open to reveal a nice quaint little pub. A bell could be heard ringing as Cinder stepped in. On the left was some booths, while in the middle there were some tables and chairs. In the top left corner of the room was a T.V, currently on the sports channel. And finally, to the right was the bar counter, five stools sat in front of it. Behind the counter was a man with jet black hair and yellow eyes wearing a suit and red tie. Behind him was shelves of different types of alcohol along with a counter underneath them. Below the counter there were some cabinets, a mini fridge, a trash can, and what seemed to be a small cooler. The man behind the counter was cleaning one of the glasses with a white towel. He would look towards the door as Cinder opened, the small bell notifying him of her presence.

"Miss Fall. You're here earlier then the time given to you." The man would say, finishing up cleaning the glass and putting it down beside him, grabbing another and proceeding with the same process. Mercury and Emerald would then enter the bar, Mercury scraping his boots on the rug as Emerald immediately ran up behind Cinder. "I see you also brought your, 'assets' with you as well." The man would say, earning an annoyed look from Mercury and a casual one from Emerald. "The Master wishes to see you alone Cinder. So Miss Sustrai and Mr Black are required to stay on the main floor with me." The man would explain, looking at Emerald and Mercury. Emerald gained an angered expression before speaking up to the man. "Why can't we go with her? What's your 'Master' going to do to a-" before Emerald could continue, Mercury put a hand on her shoulder and held her back. "Back off Em." He would say, looking at Emerald with a serious look, along with a serious tone in his voice. Emerald would look at Mercury, before looking back at the bartenders yellow dead eyes. She would look back at Mercury and shake his hand off her shoulder with an angry growl. Mercury would just role his eyes and cross his arms, both of them looked over at Cinder as she started to speak. "You two behave yourselves. Now... Kurogiri, was it?" Cinder would ask the bartender, the bartender giving a simple nod as a response. "Where exactly is your Master?" Cinder would ask yet another question. Kurogiri would put down the glass and towel, reaching down underneath the counter, pushing a secret button. Cinder would look back in front of her as two panels of drywall slid open to reveal an elevator. Cinder looked back at Kurogiri who gestured for her to go in. Cinder would look back at the elevator and make her way into it, turning around towards where she had entered as the elevator doors shut in front of her. Emerald and Mercury watches as the elevator doors closed on their boss. "Do you two wish to have a drink?" Kurogiri would ask the duo. The two would turn to him, Mercury being the first to speak up. "I don't drink." He would say, holding his hands up. "A glass of water will be fine." Emerald would say for herself. Kurogiri would nod before grabbing one of the glasses he had cleaned, and filling it up with water.
