"He's been on some kind of killing spree-" Sam turned, "Dean, what do we do?"

He took a sip of his beer, glancing over to you. Both of the boys were irritated that you'd let Nick get out of the bunker, but it was not entirely your fault. He had been the devil for months, you could easily be overpowered by a man who had been possessed by one of the stronger beings that had walked the earth.

"You cannot keep blaming me for this," You pleaded, "and don't say that you didn't say anything. I know you Dean Winchester, I know what your little glares mean."

You'd stood from your chair and began pacing the war-room, Dean watching the panic inside of you unfold. Sam looked at him, his eyes narrowing at him.

"Upsetting her isn't going to help us find him," He'd sighed, "Let's just take a second, think about it."

Your mind was racing with possible places of where Nick could have gone.

"(Y/N)," Castiel grabbed your shoulder to stop you from pacing anymore, "Nick spoke to you the most, did he say where he may have gone?"

"I-" No matter how hard you tried, nothing was coming back to you, "Cas, I don't remember if he ever said anything."

"He has to be in the area. He didn't say anything that stuck out to you?"

"Come on, (Y/N). Think!"

"Nick could be anywhere right now," Dean raised a brow, taking a stride towards the staircase, "I'm going out to find the son of bitch, if you want to help--come on."

There was a no reason for Dean to be so irritated. Yes, Nick was actively killing people in order to bring Lucifer back, but that wasn't entirely on you. The boys left you alone with him for a week and a half, when you called them to tell them that Nick left, they didn't answer.

Sam followed Dean out and so did Castiel. You knew that if you didn't go, you first off, would not hear the end of it from Dean, and two, Nick would be a dead man if they found him.

The ride was painfully long and quiet, even if Dean had the music up so loud that you couldn't even process any thoughts. You glanced towards Cas, who was in the seat behind Sam. They were both staring out the window, looking for signs of Nick in any alley-ways.

You should be doing the same on your side, but just couldn't focus. No matter the excuses you thought of, it wasn't helping the guilt. People were dying because you let your guard down with Nick.

He was becoming such a great person too. He'd calmed down on the whole "I hate myself for staying alive" thing and finally came to terms that the people around him still cared. Especially you, which is the where it comes completely full circle.

Granted, this irritated you that Nick would turn so quickly, you still cared about his well-being. At this rate, you began to think you were falling for him. If you were to let that slip to the boys, they'd completely overreact. They'd only understand it as 'You're in-love with a not-nearly as violent Lucifer,' which was not the case.

"Dean, stop the car." Castiel spoke up, Dean obliged but not without an argument.

"What the hell did you see?"

Cas gets out of the vehicle before he answers, running towards a figure in the alley. You peered at the figure for a second, before Sam and Dean start running. You yanked the seatbelt off of your body, trying to get out of the backseat.

Your stress levels began going through the roof as you noticed the man that was in-fact Nick. He pushed Castiel out of his way, squaring up to Sam and Dean.

"Nick!" You sounded a tad more desperate than anticipated, but there was no taking it back now, "Nick, please. You need to calm down."

"(Y/N)?" He too sounded just as desperate as you, "How did you all find me-?"

"It doesn't matter!" You spat, "You are killing people. Innocent people!"

Nick clutched his fist and Castiel spoke up, trying to warn you of the anger settling in Nick's body. When you glanced down at Nick's hand, you took a step back.

"You don't want to hurt me, Nick." You plead, "Just breathe. We aren't going to hurt you unless you hurt us."

His eyes looked you up and down from head to toe, trying to find some sign of body language that proves you false. His lips parted to say something, but nothing came out.

"Nick?" You put your hand out, "Will you come home with us?"

He'd loosened-up physically, grabbing you hand, "Ye-Yeah, I will."

You watched him closely as he stepped towards you. The boy's doing the same, watching as he took a spot next to you. Dean nudged Sammy, gesturing to watch the two of you while he helped Cas up.

You led Nick to the Impala, he sat on the drivers side and didn't say a word on the ride home. When you got home, Dean grabbed you before you could follow Nick inside.

"We need to talk."

Your heart fell to the pit in your stomach, "Yeah, Dean?"

"What was that?"

"Don't do this."

Your words didn't faze him, he stood there waiting for an answer.

"I think we both know what it was," You sighed, "I'll talk to you about it later, but right now let me be with him."

You'd pushed your way through the doorway, going to find Nick. He wasn't in his room, nor was he in the storage room. You'd made your way down the corridor, spotting him on your bed. His back was towards the doorway when you stepped in, "You okay?"

He peeked around, "Hm? Yeah, peachy." He shrugged.

"Why would you leave so quickly?" You spat, "You could have told me what was happening."

"I didn't want you to worry."

"Nick, I want to worry! I would've worried either way, but this one just hurt worse."

"I didn't mean for it too," He glanced to you, who was know sat beside him, "I'm sorry."

You placed a hand on his upper back, rubbing small circles on him, "I accept your apology, Nick."

The longer he looked at you, you felt your heart flutter quicker. You noticed that he began to lean in towards you, which you did the same. One of his hands found its way toward your thigh as his lips touched yours, fitting together like a puzzle piece.
