The Shiratorizawa volleyball team talked excitedly after they heard the news that a new manager would be joining their club today everyone on the team excitedly discussed what their new manager would look and act like well everyone except Ushijima who found the topic uninteresting to him unlike his friend Tendo. Ushijima looked around his usual stoic expression on his face as he wished the new manager would hurry up so the team could focus on practice. 

The doors of the gym opened to reveal the coach who was talking with a [H/c] haired male who smiled warmly his [E/c] eyes shining Ushijima looked curiously at the [Y/h] (taller, shorter) male as his team quickly swarmed him overwhelming him with questions causing him to slightly slink back hiding behind the coach. 

Ushijima got up from his seat and pushed through the crowd forming around the seemingly shy male. 

Ushijima stuck his hand out to the [H/c]ette who hesitantly took it, shaking it, a slight smile appearing on his face causing a slight blush to appear on the stoic males face.

1 Month time skip

You've now been the manager for a month now and you've grown to love the team and all their quirks. 

"GOOD JOB!" you screamed as you ran up to Ushijima and Tendo just won another game. You jumped onto Ushijima as always who sighed and caught you Tendo jumping around equally as excited as you before they had to go off to change.

You were standing against the wall outside the locker room waiting for your friends. Tendo ran out first patting you on the back before walking away only to be stopped by you who was confused since you all always walked together after games. 

"Wait Tendo where are you going." you whined. 

"Ohhhhh Ushijima wanted to walk with just youuuuuu~" Tendo said as he continued down the halls leaving you confused as more and more of the team passed leaving you to wait for the giant.

Soon Ushijima finally exited the locker room a look of confusion and contemplation on his usually stoic face causing you to wonder what could be on his mind. 

"USHIIII THEY LEFT!" you whined, causing the other man to snap out of his thoughts and look down at you sitting on the floor twiddling your fingers pouting. 

"They said they would think it best that we walk together." Ushijima said as he reached a hand out to you which you gladly took as you were then pulled to your feet. 

"Why though~" Ushijima ruffled your [H/c] hair as you both started walking and you were still pouting. 

"The team said that I should try and woo you before asking you to go on a date, so they left without us to help me in a way." you stopped walking holding in your smile at his bluntness that you grew to love him for. 

"What if I ask you on a date before you ask me." you asked you being happy that Ushijima liked you back.

The other male stopped walking as well as he contemplated what you said. 

"I would be fine with it, it wouldn't matter either way because the results would be the same." You chuckled as you grabbed Ushijima's hand as you dragged him down the hall making him stumble at first. 

"Ok so you wanna go out Friday at 8:00 we can go watch a movie if you want." you asked, causing a small smile to appear on the stoic males face who simply nodded in response.
