You were walking down the road calmly admiring the sun's rays on your skin as you were making your way to your next mission, a determined feeling in your bones, you were calmly listening to the chirping of the birds when you suddenly heard screaming coming from behind you. In a hurry you drew your sword only to come face to face with a boy in a boar mask. 

You heard more shouting coming from behind the strange boy only to see your childhood friend Tanjiro along with a blond who was crying for some reason you took one last look at the seemingly frozen boy before moving around him and making your way to Tanjiro waving excitedly. 

A confused look overtook the redheads face before realization overtook it and he hurried your way while grasping the box he had strapped to his back. 

"[Y/N]! It's so good to see you- wait, you're a demon slayer too?!" you flashed your signature grin while nodding your head. 

"I have been for about a year now." 

The boy from earlier was suddenly in your face making you slightly uncomfortable, Tanjiro quickly moved to make the boy back off. 

"I don't like you pretty boy." 

You flushed while looking at the boy confused. 

"Inosuka be nice to [Y/n] he's one of my old friends." Tanjiro said, scolding Inosuka before turning back to you. 

"Sorry about him he's always like this except the pretty boy thing that's new."

You laughed smiling while patting your friend in the head, "It's fine Tanjiro, where are you all heading?" 

"Oh were actually on our way to (Random town) what about you." 

You all continued walking down the path Tanjiro gripping the straps if the box tighter. 

"I'm actually heading that way as well! Would you guys mind if I joined your little group?"

"Not at all the more people to protect me- work with the better!" the blond said his mood seemingly improved.

It's been a month since you began traveling with the trio and it's overall been an amazing time and you were now awkwardly cooking supper as Inosuka glared at you, the glow from the fire making his boar mask extra creepy. 

"[Y/n], we're going to go get more firewood. Can you watch Nezuko for me?" 

You stood up smiling "Of course!"

As soon as Tanjiro left you went back to focusing on cooking. Soon the delicious smelling food was done. You reached into your bag grabbing silverware before dishing it up and handing it to Inosuka who surprisingly took it without question making you smile and pat him on the head after he took his mask off. 

You walked away not noticing the blush that was now coating his cheeks.

"YOU DID IT AGAIN!" 

You quickly looked at Inosuka startled by his outburst only to see him confused and angry.

"What did I do?" you tilted your head confused. 

"YOU KEEP MAKING ME FEEL WEIRD AND HOT STOP IT!" you choked as you held in a chuckle now realizing why Inosuka resented you. 

"Inosuka are you being serious?" he simply glared at you. 

"Why wouldn't I be?" he crossed his arms over his chest.

"AWH YOUR SO INNOCENT!" you wrapped your arms around him nuzzling his (chest/neck) as he yelled protests trying to push you off before he saw your smile. He calmed down grumbling as you continued to hold him a content look on your face. 

Inosuka was surprisingly warm and comfortable and you soon found yourself falling asleep which surprised the boy along with the duo who returned from the woods arms full of wood. 

"Oh [Y/n] fell asleep, I can take him if you want Inosuka." Tanjiro said. 

"No." 

"O-ok?"
