Chapter 7

Shivani's P.O.V

The cold spring breeze filled the air, sending chills down my spine. Parts of my hair were still drenched but I forced myself to keep on walking. I didn't know where to go but I certainly knew I didn't want to go back home. University was starting in 2 days and I needed to find an accommodation as soon as possible. I checked my wallet, and knew I had enough money to stay in a hotel for a while. I walked around Bradford and found a hotel that look decent enough to stay in. It was called Jury's Inn, I walked in and it gave me a sense of home. It was very warm and comfortable. The receptionist greeted me with a huge smile on her face.

"Hello Ma'me, How may I help you?" She asked with a smile on her face,her teeth were as white as pearls. 

"Ya I would like a room please"  I asked politely 

"alright ma'me , here is the key to your room" She replied. 

My room was on the third floor, I took my luggage and walked towards the elevators. When I finally reached my room, I opened the door and  the room was breath taking. The most beautiful place I have ever seen. The room was painted electric blue which is my favourite color. The furniture was white and there was everything I needed. I went to the bedroom, and leaped onto the bed, letting out a sigh.   Everything seemed so complicated,I knew I needed to make things right.  I couldn't stay at the hotel for no longer than 2 days so I called Erica up again.  The phone rang and I finally heard a voice on the other end. 

"Hello" Veronica asked with a curious expression in her voice

"Hey. Uhm Veronica It's Shivani. You kind of forgot me yesterday" before I could finish my sentence, she  interrupted.

Oh my god, I'm so sorry Shivani, I've been so busy lately that I don't even have enough time to sleep at night. You know all the office work I have to do lately, and also preparing for university . Everything is very hectic. 

"Woah, take a breath Veronica its alright love" I assured her. 

" I'm just so sorry Shivani, Where are you right now? I'll come pick you up" She asked 

"No its alright Veronica you take some rest. And besides University is starting in two days so its fine." I wanted her to calm down, I didn't want to be another reason causing her stress.

"Okay love, I'll pick you up in two days" She replied as she hung up the phone. 

My stomach began to growl loudly so I went into the kitchen. Everything was empty and just thinking about having no food was giving me  a head ache.  I called up room service and ordered some food. It felt like I had to wait centuries before room service came to my door. I opened the door and smiled at the person before closing the door behind me. 

It was very hot in the room so I decided to change into something more comfortable. I went to the bathroom, and put on a tank top with mini shorts. I came outside and began to eat like a hungry pig. All of a sudden it felt as if  the ground was shaking. The music was coming from the room next to me, The loud music gave me a headache. It was really upsetting to know that I finally had time for myself yet the person next  to me was ruining it. 

I walked over to the door and knocked really loud, hoping they  would hear it.

"Hello" I heard as I was looking at my feet.

"Hi, Could you please..." I looked up and noticed a handsome guy with dark black hair and brown eyes. I couldn't stop staring at him, he seemed so familiar. 

"Excuse me" He said as he snapped his fingers in my face and I finally came back into my senses

My eyes grew wide as I realized who it was.
