Jealous Prince D x Reader

Barb’s world tour might have been traumatizing for some, yes, but the aftermath wasn’t entirely negative. Not only was there peace (for the most part) between all the tribes and sub tribes now, but there was a HUGE technology advancement among all the tribes. After they all shared what they had and didn’t have, they were able to put it all together and grew fast and successfully technology-wise. And now the trolls had cell-phones.
Prince D gave you a cell-phone as a birthday present. They weren’t exactly being mass-produced and it was an excruciating slow process to get them to all the trolls, so you were extremely lucky to get one so soon. He showed you all the apps on the phone. One for messaging, one for calling, one for taking pictures and saving them, one for notes, and one to connect with multiple trolls at once (social media). You were interested in the social media one and instantly connected with your friends and family once they finally got their own cell-phones. Queen Poppy recruited Guy Diamond and Smidge to help make and distribute phones. She knew how competitive they could get over nothing, so the two alone where able to help get out the phones much quicker than before. You got a somewhat decent following on your social media app, being Darnell’s partner and all.
At first, you just posted pictures of animals that you spotted since you weren’t sure what else to post. Eventually, you and Prince D took a photo together while you both were on a date and you got his permission to post it. You checked the post a few days later while you were relaxing at home on your couch and found that your post had a billion comments. They were mostly just trolls gushing over how cute the two of you were together and some even talking about how they wish they were you. One rather long post caught your eye. You had to press the ‘read more’ button since it was so long. It kept talking about how beautiful and sweet you are and listing a bunch of compliments about you. Your eyes went wide, and you started blushing. You thought it might’ve been Darnell at first, and you would’ve thought it was sweet, except after you read the post and looked to see who wrote it, it was some other troll you hadn’t even met. You were completely thrown off guard by this.
“W-what? That isn’t Darnell.” You said to yourself.
“What isn’t me?” Darnell asked. He was visiting you that day and left the room for a few minutes to get a few snacks.
“This troll made a pretty extensive comment about me from the picture I took of us on our date.” You showed him. He read the comment and started to look…angry? After he read it, he took the phone from you and shut it off. You were a little shocked and confused. “What did you do that for?” You asked.
“I know that troll.” Prince D mumbled. “He’s a pop troll. Creek. He’s a really bad person. I can’t believe he actually had the guts not only to comment on your post, but to make a comment as if you were his partner!” Darnell exclaimed and plopped down on the couch next to you.
“I can just block him, you know. Its really not that big of a dea-” you cut yourself off when you looked over at him and noticed his pout, which was adorable.
“Wait…are you jealous?” You asked him.
“N-No! I’m just mad. A-At Creek!” A blush started forming on his face.
“Your mad and jealous, babe. You don’t have to be one.” You smirked and teased him. It made him blush harder and he started to slouch a bit. You kissed him on the cheek. “Seriously, I can block him. He’s an idiot who made an idiotic decision to make the comment he made on my post, and he’s also irrelevant. I don’t care about the stuff that a random troll like him says, you’re my one and only.” You comforted him.
“He’s still a jerk for doing that when he knows you’re taken.” Prince D said.
“I know. But I’m still kind of surprised that a comment managed to get the cool and laid-back Prince D all angry and jealous.” You teased him again.
“Pff, well like you said, its not that big of a deal.” He tried to brush it off.
“Mhm…you’re adorable when you’re jealous though.” You made Prince D blush again.
“Wha-I-I…is that the only thing you find adorable about me or something?” Prince D asked.
“What if it is?” You teased, leaning against him.
“What do you mean, ‘what if it is’?” He asked, becoming more flustered and his voice getting a little higher. You laughed.
“Everything about you is adorable.” You said, kissing him one more time.
