>>>>Part 16
Within a matter of seconds we are inside the mirror house. When I look back again, I see Dean pushing through people. He knows where I am. There is only one way out of this place now, seeming so close, yet so far.
We make our way to the middle of the house, and Crowley brings out a demon knife, ready to strike if anything happens.
"So much as a pen drops on the floor, and you're done love," Crowley stares at me menacingly.
I glare at him. We hear a noise, and I know that it's Dean. His reflection comes up in the mirrors, and there's no way of telling which one is the real Dean. I look around, trying to find him, but even I cannot see past the illusion.
DEANS POINT OF VIEW
Rayn is here. Now. Crowley doesn't know which mirror I am by, I could be standing right next to him and he still wouldn't notice.
Dad took me and Sammy to a carnival like this once. Not for fun of course, it was a hunt. Dad told me and Sammy to wait by the fence while he went in to find the clown. The thing, never found out what it was, took hold of Sammy and went into the mirror house. I called for my dad, but he never came out, so I went in alone.
I had my gun loaded with silver bullets, and my knife sharpened to perfection. While in the house, I saw Sam and the creature. I didn't have a clear shot, not without hitting Sam. Next thing I know, I too am being hung from the ceiling. Sam was next to me, not saying a word.
Next thing I know, Dad comes in. Not just one, but many. It looked as if he was inside the mirrors. The creature was confused. Dad walked around and eventually shot the thing.
Seems as if I need to do the same.
I walk around Crowley and Rayn, talking up a storm, trying to distract him from her. Eventually I see the opening I need, and I shoot Crowley in the leg, then arm. Should slow him down quite a bit.
Rayn breaks free from his grasp. She runs toward me. But she never makes it into my arms.
Next thing I know I see Rayn on the ground, wincing in pain.
Sam is still outisde, probably battling Crowleys goons.
"Rayn," I say her name softly. "Rayn," A little louder this time. "Rayn!" I shout.
Her eyes open slightly. I rest her head in my arms.
This is all my fault.
