>>>>Part 7
"So what were you doing in the middle of the road?" Sam asks me.
" I just...ended up there," which was, in fact, true. Hopefully they don't ask how I ended up there.
"Okay. And, what's your name?" Sam is full of questions. I still don't think I should answer it. Maybe give a fake name? No, I want to make them trust me.
"Sammy, maybe we should just give her some time," Dean looks me over. "She still seems a little on edge."
How does he figure? I don't look like anything.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. I am gonna go get some sleep. We have work to do tomorrow," Sam says, heading up the stairs to his room.
I can't think of what to do or say next so I just sit there with Dean. I am trying to avoid eye contact, but I can feel him staring at me. It actually starts to bother me.
"Why are you staring?" I ask him.
"What? No, I wasn't staring."
"Yes you were."
Dean just keeps staring. Finally he looks away.
"Do you...wanna go catch a movie?" Dean stands up, assuming I will say yes.
I have only heard of movies, never actually seen one though.
"Okay," I respond. Not remembering I was injured, I stand up, only to fall again. Dean comes over and picks me up in his arms. He is so strong, oh my god. He carries me out to his car. Oh. Oh damn. His car is just perfect.
Dean slides me into the passenger seat and buckles me in. He is being so kind, I wish I could show him gratitude. The engine roars to life. So beautiful.
"So, what's your favorite movie?" Dean asks me.
"I don't know. I've never seen one."
"You what...what? You've never seen a movie?" Dean glances at me with the look of astonishment.
I turn back to my window. It is nice outside.
"Don't you ever smile?" Dean keeps asking such difficult questions.
"No."
"Why?"
"Because I can't," Damn Dean, you're questions are gettting very VERY difficult.
"Oh. Okay."
Finally, we pull into the movie theaters parking lot. Dean gets out and hustles over to my side. I still don't understand why he is being so nice.
Dean unbuckles my seat belt, and once again lifts me into his bulky arms. People stare at us as we walk through the theater, but he doesn't seem to mind.
I don't know what movie we are watching, but holy shit it is so good. There's guns and crazy people fighting, and some super hot actors. Wow. I really love movies now.
When the movie is over, Dean and I are the last ones to leave the theater. We sat there and talked for about ten minutes. Not about the movie, about me. Of course me.
As Dean scooped me up into his arms, he kept staring at me. He looked nervous.
"Can I know your name?" he asks me. He looks desperate. I give in.
"Rayn," I tell him. "My name is Rayn."
"Thank you. Now can I ask you one more question?" I nod.
"Rayn, do you uh...do you want to go on a date with me?" Dean stops walking.
I have never been on a date before, but everybody at the schools would talk about them. They sound really nice actually.
"Okay."
Dean smiles. I start to feel sleepy, so I bury my head in his chest and drift off to sleep. This night has been so wonderful.
DEANS POINT OF VIEW
I feel her move her head. Looking down, I notice something amazing. There's a slight smile on her face. And she said she can't smile.
I don't know what it is. I have only known her for a short while, but she is just...so beautiful. Like my car, but more. Once we are back to the car, I gently lay her down in the back seat. I adjust my front mirror so I could see her better.
Suddenly the car stops. It just, stops. I grabe the dagger I have hidden in my seat. I also pull the gun out of my waistbelt. Rayn looks fine. She is still sleeping which is good. Now she won't see me gank whatever this thing is.
Quietly, I get out of the car, only to be thrown back by a force. A frickin' demon! Oh not just any demon. Crowley.
"You son of a bitch," I say through gritted teeth.
"Don't worry squirrel, I am not here for you."
Crowley opens the car door and pulls out Rayn.
"Leave her alone! She has nothing to do with you!" I yell out.
"Oh. She didn't tell you? She's just like me. A bloody demon. A naughty one at that. She escaped from Hell, and she decided not to tell me where she was going," Crowley slaps Rayn across the face, and she jolts awake.
"Let go of me you ass!" She screams. Crowley grabs her by the neck.
"Shut it!" Crowley walks over to me with Rayn in hand.
"Now darling, I want you to kill him, and I will pretend like none of this ever happened."
Rayn looks at me. Then at Crowley.
"I guess you'll have to punish me then."
Sooner than I know, they're gone. She slipped from my grasp. I let her go. How could I do this? I have to get her back.
