Last Promise

A boy and the girl were so close together and had so much fun with each others company. As years go by, they became in love with each other and told silly stories on how their futures would be together one day. Then one afternoon, the boy had to move very far away because his family has to move to his mother's place. And so he told the girl.
B: Sorry, but I have to leave. I am going far away now. I am going to miss you and I will always love you.
G: But when are you coming back?
*starts crying*
B: I dont really know.
G: I love you.. Don't forget that ..
*keeps crying*
B: One day I will see you in your white wedding dress in a church. Exchange your vows with the man you love and will never be seperated again.
G: Will you promise me one last time, that you will be there in the wedding? *sobbing*
B: I promise you...
*tears starts to fall*
The boy hugs the girl and said their farewells. The boy left and never came back since then.
After many years later, the girl fell in love with another boy and they fell in love with each other. Then they became lovers. The man proposed to the girl and the girl said yes.
While the girl prepares for her white wedding gown, she remembered the boy she first fell in love with and hoped that he will be there to her wedding because of his promise.
The church's door opened and she came down the isle with her beautiful white wedding dress with a smile on her face. When she came close to the altar, she saw his future husband and a man familiar to his childhood. She shed a tear when she recognized who is the priest that shown her a smile. It was his childhood lover, the boy who left years ago.
"I told you I would come to your wedding like I promised years ago."
The boy left the girl to enter the seminary because his parents wants him to be a priest. The boy didn't told the girl because he knew the girl would refuse to let him enter priesthood. And so he left the girl so she would find another man that would love her for the rest of her life even if he loved the girl so much.
