Number 2 Chapter 1

I walked to the main office, they told me to go to the deans room. I walked out and continued walking. I could feel it. War is coming sooner than later... and I might have to face it... I walked into the deans office to see the king and the dean. I closed the door and then bowed.

Dean " Mika thank you for meeting with us"
Me " It is no problem"
King " How is my idiot son treating you"
Me " Well he is stubborn but you know still wants to battle me"
King " I see, mhmm you know why I asked for you right"
Me " I get abit the war between our kingdom and dock is getting worst isn't it."
King " Yes, we lost almost 30,000 troops. I called you today to ask you to join the war, since your ranked number one is this school and your abilities I am hoping you would be captain of the group I give you."
Me" If its for the country I will do it. I dont mind"
Dean " I knew you would say that, Mika, this is a serous and dangerous mission are you sure you dont have to.."
Me " I was born and raised as a weapon, even though I am not allowed to use my true abilities, I was able to control them. So if my country needs it I will do it"
King " Okay then, I will send your dad the information. Please If you can talk to my son about the trip"
Me " If he wants to talk to me..."

I walked out of the office, Well I guess I knew this already. Someone with my abilities can never always be protected by the gods.. It was after school and I decided to stay after school with Emily. We were sitting next to the old blossom tree near the back gate, this is also where we see Sato training. This is always our spot even if we aren't in good terms. I drank my tea and watched as the blossom tree blossomed in front of me. I was smiling as the peddles touched my hand. This take me back to when Sato and I were in Grade school, the tree near our old school had a colorful stem and pastel leafs. We wrote our names into it.

Sato " You see Mika, it is spring time now"
Me " Yes it is haha"
Sato " Some day, I will be stronger than you, so I could protect you instead of you protecting me."
Me " What I can't be the saver "
Sato " haha, you can, I just want to be able to save you like you saved me.... Cause I like you haha"

Even though we were only Grade schools that still stuck by me. A boy that was once someone I adore became someome who hates me. I broke my cup, splashing all the tea on me. Emily saw and began to panic. Trying to wipe the tea off my uniform. Sato was looking at me when he heard Emily. I quickly got up.

Me " I am sorry, I will clean up now.."

I then walked to the restroom in school. I tied my hair and took my jacket off. This is great ughh why did I have to dream about that. I walked in and began to wash my face. I then looked at myself in the mirror. In a couple of days I will be leaving to join the army, not sure when I may come back or even if I will.... The king did tell me to talk to his son but, how can I talk to someone that ignores me.... I walked back when I noticed these boys surrounding this girl, she looked scared. I slowly walked towards them.

" Dont be shy, just show us"
" I cant!!"
" Come on dont be compl--"

He was about to touch her when I grabbed his hand.

" Who the hell!"

They turned to see me, instantly freaking out.

" Mika!..."
Me " Mhmm so you guys want to continue because I feel kinda frisky right now."
"Uhh no we were just leaving.."

I let go of his hand and they left. The girl then bowed to me. Thanking me, I smiled and then left. I made it back and sat down. Emily looked at me and then smiled. She began to touch me again.

Emily " Lady mika!!! YOU LOOK SO CUTE TODAY!"
Me " STOP IT"
Emily " I am just happy that you and Saro are my friends. I wouldn't be anything without you guys."
Me " Me either..."

The carriage came to get me. I continued looking at the sky, thinking about middle school with Sato and Emily, how we always had to protect Emily from weirdo and how Sato got us in trouble. Sad to say that this moment might be my last. I came home and my parents called me. My mom slapped me in the face and began to cry.

Mom " ARE YOU MADE YOUR ONLY 15! YOU CANT GO"
Dad " Darling she has to, she is the gods blessing"
Mom " No my dear daughter."

My mom began to hug me and cried even more. My dad gave me the papers and I went to my room. Tomorrow is my last day being here, Didnt expect that soon. I looked out the window and stared at the stars. The next day, I was spacing out more than usual. Emily kept trying to get me to talk. Sato noticed alot, during lunch I went to the bedroom and Sato came up to Emily.

Sato " Whats up with Emily?"
Emily " Not sure, but she seems distant "

I was in class, writing, I couldnt focus that much, It got to the point where I broke my pencil and cut myself. Emily turned to see me bleeding.

Emily " PROFESSOR!"

Everyone turned to see me bleeding, I was not focusing. Emily shaked me, I then saw my hand. Emily covered it and took me to the nurse. Sato looked at my desk as I bled. Emily was holding my other hands as my other was covered. She then stopped on the bridge, she turned to me and slapped me. She began to tear up.

Emily " WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOUR NOT LIKE THIS!? PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG..."

I looked at Emily as she cried, she let go of my hand and looked at me. I began to tear up as well.

Me " I... I am leaving tomorrow..."
Emily " What.."
Me " I was selected to be apart of the army.... I am leaving tomorrow..."
Emily " No you cant leave!!.. you cant "

Emily began to hug me and cried. I began to rub her head.

Me " I am sorry but If my country needs me I need to go."
Emily " But your only a 2nd year Mika! You have time!"
Me " We lose over 30 thousand. I need to do this"
Emily " But Mika..."
Me " I am sorry..."
Emily " Dont leave me...."

I continued to rub her head. We went to the nurses office and Emily checked my cut.

Emily " It is gone"
Me " Yeah I know"
Emily " Ughh so thats why you were off."
Me " Yes, I dont know if I will come back but I am glade I have met you"
Emily " Mika... promise me you'll be fine"
Me " I will try to keep it."

I hung out with Emily for abit, watching Sato. Emily knows that I was still into Sato but would not confess my love anytime soon.

Emily " You really not going to tell him will you"
Me " Whats the point of telling someone that won't even make the effort of talking to me. Like he said before"

Flash back
Sato " I wished I never met you."

I wish I could say that he did t say that but he did.. Emily left early and I walked around, I continued to look around the school  before I left tomorrow. I then saw Sato with a towel over his head walking towards me. He stopped and we made eye contact, he then walked past me. I made a fist as he walked by before he completely left my area.

Me " Meet me tomorrow morning at the tree."
Sato " Why should I "
Me " You dont have to but, I want to say something to you.."

I then walked away. I went into the carriage and went home, the moon was more beautiful then ever. I went to my room, my eye turned red ad my hands was gushing with dark magic. How I waited to us this...

Sato was walking around the castle, she suddenly wants to talk after how I have been treating her. I feel ashamed but still..
