Chapter 10: Kiana's Wedding

Kayla's POV

*2 weeks later*

"KAYLA!" My sister exclaimed as Lonny, Hannah, and I walked down to baggage claim.

"KIANA!" I yelled as I ran down to her, hugging her. "Oh God, where's mom and dad?" I freaked, scanning the area.

"Don't worry, they're at the hotel." She said, placing her hands on my shoulders.

"Thank God." I sighed, letting my muscles relax.

"Jeez Kayla, you're almost as fast as your daughter." Lonny chuckled, catching up to us.

"Guilty as charged." I said with a small giggle, holding up my hands. "Sorry." I said, reaching over to peck his lips. We got our bags and Kiana drove us to the hotel. We checked in and she went up to the room with us, making sure the coast was clear.

"Just call me if you need me." She said, jogging down the hall.

"Holy shhhhh-cow." Lonny said, stepping in and looking around.

"Nice save." He just looked back and smirked at me.

"You know, I wouldn't mind staying in here the whole weekend." He said, stretching out on the bed.

"Well, I know you have band stuff going on and I love that you still came out here with us." I said with a smile, sitting at the edge of the bed. Lonny was about to speak when my phone buzzed.

Kiana~ Hey, mom wants to see u and Hannah. Why don't u bring Hannah and Lonny down to the pool? Or just Hannah :/ Whatever.

Kayla~ Actually, I'm in the middle of talking to Lonny and it'd be great if him and I could talk alone :/ Can I just bring Hannah down there and then come back up here?

Kiana~ Sounds good, just make sure u have an excuse, u know mom.

Kayla~ Yeah, I got it, kay, see ya in a min

I put down my phone and turned to Hannah.

"Hey, why don't you go get your swimsuit on Hannah, everyone's down there. I'll take you down as soon as you're ready." I said as I tossed her swimsuit over to her.

"Okay." She said, disappearing into the bathroom.

"I'll take her down and then I'll talk to you when I get back. Then, if you want, we can go swimming too."

"You mean," He paused and clasped his hand over his heart. "You want me to meet your family?" He asked jokingly.

"Shut up." I chuckled, playfully slapping his arm. "You'll be meeting them as my friend."

"I know, I know." He said with a smile, pecking my lips. Just then, the bathroom door opened and I stood up.

"Come on Hannah, get a towel and let's go." I said and she nodded, going to her suitcase to grab a towel. "I'll be right back." I said to Lonny, slipping the room key and my phone into my pocket. He nodded and I pushed Hannah out the door. We got into the elevator and I pressed the lobby button.

"Now, you know that Lonny isn't my boyfriend this weekend, right? He's my friend."

"Got it." She smiled, giving a thumbs up.

"Good." I said, kissing her forehead. The elevator doors opened and I walked her down the hallway and over to the indoor pool.

"KAYLA!" My family exclaimed and I waved. I walked Hannah over to a table where my mom was sitting out. Hannah put down her towel and went to go jump in.
