Chapter 2: McDonalds and Walmart

KAYLA'S POV

*One Week Later*

I was cleaning up a little around the house when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Kayla!" Lonny exclaimed on the other end.

"Oh, hey Lonny." I said, sitting down on the couch to talk.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to come have lunch with the guys and I?"

"Mommy, I'm bored." Hannah whined, coming into the room.

"Hold on, mommy's on the phone." I said, running my fingers through her hair. "Sure, I'll have to find  someone to watch Hannah though." I said, turning my attention back to Lonny.

"Bring her along! The guys wanna meet her."

"Alright, sure." I shrugged. After I hung up, Hannah ran up to me.

"Wanna go to McDonalds?" I asked and she nodded. "Okay, go get dressed." I said and she ran up the stairs. I went up to my room and ran a brush through my hair. I applied some more eyeliner and made a couple poses in the mirror before accepting how I looked. What can I say? I was going to have lunch with my favorite band, my heroes, and I'm crushing on Lonny.

"You ready Hannah?" I called as I picked up my keys and slipped on my BVB sunglasses. It was December but very sunny.

"Yeah!" She said as she came bouncing down the stairs.

"Okay, go get in the car." I said and she ran out to the car. I locked the door and followed my daughter to the car. I drove to the nearest McDonalds and walked inside with Hannah. I looked around and saw BVB right as I got in line to order food. I ordered for Hannah and I and pulled out my wallet to see I didn't have enough money.

"Shit." I cursed under my breath. "Umm, just forget my-eepp!" I jumped as Lonny snaked his hands around my waist quickly, causing me to jump. "Well hello there." I chuckled, turning around to see him.

"Forget your what?" He asked, smirking.

"Oh, my food. I don't have enough money for Hannah and I so I'm just getting Hannah something, I'll find something at home."

"Oh no you don't, here." He said, handing the person exact cash.

"No Lonny, you don't have to do that."

"Yes I do." He said as the cashier took it.

"No."

"I don't have to but I want to." He smiled, flicking the hair out of his eyes. I just sighed and waited for the food with Hannah and Lonny.

"Thank you Lonny." I smiled, taking the tray of food off the counter.

"No problem, c'mon." He said, leading Hannah and I over to where the rest of his band was.

"Guys, this is Kayla and Hannah." He said, before sitting down.

"Hey." They all said as I sat down next to Lonny and Hannah slid in next to me.

"Hi" I said, giving Hannah her kids meal.

"So, he got the cookies from you?" CC asked Hannah and she nodded since her mouth was full.

"Well thank you, they were delicious." Jake smiled, rubbing his stomach. I smiled at how nice they were being as I bit into my burger.

"You're welcome" Hannah smiled after swallowing her food.
