You guys asked me to continue this, so I might as well go on. Just remember I've hardly ever wrote fanfics so if it starts to suck, warn me.

"And this is our classroom where we have every class, weirdly." Maya made a thoughtful expression as if it had just hit her that all her teachers taught them in this classroom."Good luck to ya." She patted the brunettes shoulder before walking into the classroom and taking her usual seat in front of Lucas Friar.
Riley stood by the entrance of the classroom when she was suddenly tossed forward." Aye watch where your standing girl." He rudely muttered, not even turning to see if she was alright or not.
She picked up one of her books that had fallen from her arms and made her way to the empty seat next to the girl that showed her around. She didn't consider Maya a friend but she didn't wanna try getting a seat at the back of the classroom where she could easily trip over one of the book bags her new classmates left lying around and be labeled as the class klutz.
"Settle down, Settle down!" Mr.Mathews said, placing his bag on the table, "Mr.Friar your early today, any reason."he asked, surprised that Lucas was there before the bell rang.
"Yeah, I didn't wanna let you miss me with my absence."
"On to better things, Ms.Matthews?" He questioned, turning to face his daughter that was now his student."Are you ready to go back to private school?"
"No but I am ready for you to teach us something about history, not personal matters." Riley remarked, getting her pen and notebook out," That's what we're here for right?"
"I like her." Maya smiled, turning to look at Mr.Matthew, "she's nothing like you."
"All I asked you to do was, show her around and instead she gets your attitude; this is not good, not good at all." The teacher panicked, gripping onto the worksheets in his hands.
"She didn't do anything dad, how sad is it that you don't know me at all, we live in the same loft and we small talk during dinner but you don't know me." She stood from her seat, not bothering to gather her things."you only know the girl that was your little girl but I'm fifteen now, I'm growing up and you don't take the time to realize that I'm not that little girl you used to take to the park and spend hours with." She finished before she took off without permission.
"Wow, you can do that?"Maya asked, pointing towards the door.
"Apparently." Cory whispered, staring towards the empty door-way.

Maya held onto Riley's bag, she didn't understand why she even bothered trying to find this chick and give her--her stuff back. When her father could just take it to her, where ever she was but she kinda liked how she stood up to the guy. She thought she had figured her out the minute she saw her but she wasn't anything like she thought she was. Yeah, she dressed cheerful but was she really?
She found Riley sitting on a bench outside the schools main exit."Hey, you forgot this." She tossed her book bag next to the girl.
"Thanks."
"Hey Maya are you coming or what?" Lucas asked, walking over to the girls."you're the teachers daughter right?"
It's not that Riley was being rude, she just didn't get a good vibe from this guy, she grabbed her bag and headed back inside before muttering a "see you later." to Maya.
"Ouch, someone doesn't like you."She teased, walking past him to head back into the school building.
"Hey!" He grabbed her arm, making her stop from going any further."Everyone likes me, even you." He smirked, winking at her.
"Right."She rolled her eyes, tugging her arm away from his grip," Don't get cocky Friar, she didn't seem interested."
"She will be," Lucas shrugged, digging his hands into his leather jacket pockets."Come on Maya, let's have a little fun."
Maya knew the kinda guy Lucas was, he was a player, the type of guy you wouldn't wanna date but she used him as much as he used her. She didn't want anything serious and she understood their little game better then he did, he could go fool around with any girl and she could do the same with any guy but they came back to each other. They weren't jealous because in all honesty they didn't have any real feelings towards each other, they just needed someone they could trust and be there when no one else was. Even if it was just for a little bit, that's what they were to each other, just a warm touch.

After they spent most of their last period in the jointers closet, they parted ways. Lucas headed towards the exit to get the hell outta here but he caught Riley leaning against what he thought was her locker. He was going to get her to like him, he was liked by everyone and she wasn't going to be the exception, he always got the girl and nothing was ever impossible to him.
"Hey you!" He grinned, resting one of his hands on the locker next to her head."Leaving someone hanging is highly low mannered."
Riley looked up at the guy and rolled her eyes,"you'd know, you're an expert." She bluntly retorted, going around him to head home. She rather walk then wait for her father while being bothered by the guy with no manners.
"I'm not done talking to you." He followed suit, keeping up with her quick pace.
"Oh I'm sorry, am I supposed to care?" She hissed, gripping her bag even tighter. She wasn't this mean to anybody but she just wasn't used to guys. She was barely getting used to coming to a regular school, let alone guys.
"Yes, being bitchy and cold will never get a guy to like you." He yelled from a couple of feet away, a couple of students that were around, stopped to watch what happened next.
This was one of Lucas's things, if you couldn't get a girl to like you. Treat her like shit and make her feel good about herself later when you had destroyed their self-esteem, he was expecting her to turn around and yell at him because she cared what he thought, what any girl thought. But she didn't, she just kept walking and that left him without any more moves to make, he watched her disappear through the front doors.
"Smooth babe." Maya shook her head as she came up to him.
"Shut the hell up, she's going to like me."
"Sure, whatever you say ranger Rick." She teased, patting his chest.
He grabbed her by the arms before yanking her close to him, he locked lips with Maya in a frustrating kiss before pulling away."No body turns me down."

So Maya and Lucas have a thing, remember this is an alternate universe and I know they are older.
1.Why doesn't Riley like Lucas?
2. Is Maya gonna be a problem in the future?
3.Should I make Lucas nicer or is this bad boy Lucas kinda hot?
