I know, I know. It's been awhile. Sue me, lol just kidding you can't. If I go to jail who will finish this story and rucas rants. Maybe fluffy but she's busy too but ya know. I'm REALLY REALLLLY SORRY about the long wait. You'll probably hate me since it's kinda short but like I had writers block and stuff.

Honestly I had lost all inspiration for this and anything girl meets world related. The ship wars and drama just through a girl out of her elements. You know but I couldn't just not finish this, I mean this is my baby and it's almost at its end.

Anyways

Enjoy.

"Lucas?" Lucas Friar? Is that you."  The annoying voice Lucas thought he'd never hear again in his life. "It's me, Missy, Missy Bradford. Remember? We dated two years ago before you dumped me in this very place. What are the odds, and that we'd meet here after all this time. "

"Nope, I don't recall a icky bitchford." He muttered, playing with the straw of his smoothie. "Sorry you got the wrong guy." Why couldn't she be an illusion of his imagination instead of the girl he came to love.

"Wow I see you haven't changed at all, you're still a dick." She nagged, walking around his table and resting her hands on his shoulders before she leaned forward to whisper into his ear. "But if you need a reminder, they have public restrooms just around the corner. I could remind you just how good we were together and how good we could be now."

Lucas turned his head to stare at the girl."  Not interested, you're a walking STD, leave me alone before I catch whatever you got. " he growled, shrugging her hands off him and leaning forward, ignoring when she stomped off while muttering how "sexy" she was.

Lucas sat in his chair at joe's smoothie joint, fidgeting with his interlocked fingers. He had been coming here everyday since he was let out of the hospital. He felt at ease here for some reason, it might have something to do with the place not changing much since he went into that coma.

Riley, Brandon, Maya. Were they all fragments of his imagination, everything he went through, finding his father, connecting with him, falling in love with Riley, his mother getting remarried, everything was made up. Riley had changed everything about him, the way he thought and felt about things and it was all some big fat illusion of his damn coma.

After the doctors calmed him down the week before, they explained that he had been in a hit and run accident. Two fucking years of his life, all gone to shit because of some dumbass drunken guy that was never caught. His jaw clenched and before he knew it the small table his smoothie sat on was flipped over. "Hey dude, what's your deal" Someone asked, stepping towards him. "Take that crap somewhere else." She snapped.

"It's fine Sarah." Joe said, walking over to the table Lucas had flipped." Rough day kid?" He released a sigh while he turned the table back to where it belonged." Sorry about her, she's stressed since it's gotten so busy and we don't have enough help."

"I'm sorry joe, it's, it's just all surreal. I met this girl, this beautiful brunette and she turned my life upside down." He clenched his fist at his sides." For what? For it all to be some dream? This is stupid, I wish I'd never woken up."

Joe pulled a chair across from where Lucas sat," Dreams have a lot of meaning kid, maybe this young lady was just someone who you needed at the time. You know? She might've just been there to change you. " joe sat back in his chair, looking around." You haven't brought a girl here in a week that's a record, maybe it was a sign from God that he made you go through what you did because you would've gone down the wrong path with the way things were going back then."

"Nobody holds a candle to my dream girl." Lucas mumured, getting up from his seat. " uh sorry for the mess joe, I'll come tomorrow and clean the place for free." He rubbed the back of his neck, apologetically.

"Yeah , get outta her-"

"Ouch! Joe! I'm sorry I'm so late." The girl stumbled into the joint. Her bag hanging loosely over her shoulder, panting heavily while she tried to catch her breath. "The bus was so freaking late and then this jackass was following me." She hissed, under her breath while she fixed her shirt.

Lucas froze in his tracks, feeling like the air had been knocked out of him when his gaze fell upon the brunette. He opened his mouth a couple of times before shutting it, unable to let the words out. He felt like he had lost the ability to speak and all he could do was stare at the girl before him." R-Riley?" He managed to squick, his own voice breaking.

"Yeah? Who are you? " she asked, pulling her hair into a bun." How do you know my name? Joe is this another one of your nephews, are you trying to hook me up with them again after I told you I wasn't interested in dating anyone." She pulled her bag off her shoulder before she faced Lucas," look, I'm sorry for whatever your uncle told you about me but I'm really not interested buddy, sorry."

"You're the girl of my dreams.."

So cliffhangers are the worst huh? The next chapter is the final. I mean I wish I could keep this story going forever but I mean I can't, it sucks but when I started plotting this story I knew where this would end and how it would end. I tried writing it to where you all wanted the story to go but my heart wasn't in it. So the next chapter will be the way I want it to end, with my original ending.
