Wait ......What?!!?

Everyday was the same , a blur of mediocrity. Wake up ,go to work ,come home, go to sleep  rinse repeat.   Staring out of the window of the public transit system , my glazed over eyes staring into space . My body moving on autopilot  as  I step off the bus and travel down the same streets . A gentle unfamiliar humming noise snaps me out of my trace . As I look for the origin  of the noise I notice a ripple in mid-air . I look at it confused but intrigued , going in for a closer look proves dangerous as a powerful suction begins to pull debris towards it . I begin to feel the pull strengthen I turn to run away . Suddenly a long white clawed hand grabs me and begins to drag me towards the ripple "No no no , Help  please help me someon-" As I am sucked into the ripple I am surrounded by a purple abyss with tiny specks of green  in the distance . I try to shout but nothing comes out . 

I then see a small shimmer of light and somehow am thrusted towards it at blinding speeds "Oh shit oh shit oh shit !" I scream . Being spat out of the ripple tossing me an impressive distance causing me to bounce multiple times , roll and then finally come to a stop . I groan "Okay ....either I'm dead or I am way more durable then I thought ." . I slowly push off the ground and stand up . Wobbly at first but eventually become stable . After a few minutes of getting my barring's as I look around . " Quick over her guys , I heard that boom this way . " a female voice shouts . " Oh ...thank god , peop-" I am cut off by a large monster springing out of the ground near me . It had pincers, a long insect like body and the head of a women . " Oh ....no fucking way ." I shout as I turned to run away . "Oh where are you going human ?" it says with a guttural voice . "Anywhere but here !" I scream . I run towards a tree line hoping to lose it in the trees , I glance behind me and notice nothing is there . I stop and take a breath "oh ...thank ....god ." I say gasping for air . "I wouldn't thank anyone yet ." the guttural voice says next to me , I turn to see the monster smiling a crooked smile . Shaking I can't move , I am frozen in fear  "This is it , this is how I die , by a huge ugly centipede woman ...shit ."  . It rears back preparing to strike  . "Windscar!!!!" some one shouts as a blast hits the monster sending it flying . I look towards the source of the shout and see a group of people taking a stance . I shake myself out of my fear and run away "They seem to have this under control . " I say to myself as I leave the tree line  "Coward !"  a voice in my head says . I stop "Your blood line is weak ." , " Hunter....you are pathetic .", I look around "Whose there ?" , "Oh what's wrong are you scared again ?" it says mocking me . "Shut up !" I shout  " There is that vigor ." A person then appears out of thin air . Pale grey skin , long white hair with tattoos up and down it's body . I fall back and try to back away "What's wrong hunter , do I scare you ?" it said with a laugh . "W....what do you want from me ?" I yell . It takes a step towards me " I want you , I want you to die . I want my claws drenched in your blood ." it says with a twisted smile. " Why ,what did I do to you ?" I say with fear in my voice . " No , not you . You ancestors, they trapped me and left me , so now I will do the same to you . I am going to leave you here  with monsters , demons , gods . I want you to become like your ancestors , I want you to become strong and  learn to be a warrior   so we may fight a battle to be remembered for the centuries, Then I will feast upon your bones ." It turns and sees the group that saved me watching the altercation . It's gaze comes back to me " I'll even make you a little deal , if you beat me during our fight .......I will send you home , back to your mediocre life  . "  It looks at me with hollow eyes "That a deal F/n ?" it asks . I stand up with a stone from the ground in my hand " H....how do I know you will keep your word ." I ask , it rushes me  , when it does I throw the stone as hard as I could aiming at its face . While it flew threw the air what looked like air encased it . The monster moved to the side avoiding it with a boom blasting passed him making him look like he was hurt from the mini boom  and got in my face "Seems you aren't hopeless after all, See you soon F/n."  it vanished . I drop to the ground and sit staring at me hands " Can't s...stop shaking ." I say fear still in my voice . The group of people move towards me , causing me to flinch "Whoa ...it's ok ....not here to hurt you." a girl in a uniform says in a kind tone . She walked closer to me " Who was that guy ?" she asked , I shook my head " I don't know , I ...I was just coming home from work and ....Next thing I know I am being pulled into a portal thing and boom I'm here ." I explain . she gives me a gentle smile " Well we heard what he said ,  can my friends come over and meet you . Maybe we can help you figure out what to do next ." .. I take a few breaths and come myself . "Yeah ....that sounds good ." I say finally calming down .
