. "Maybe he wouldn't be such a -" I then felt a shiver , I turn and see Sango and Kagome "You ok ?" They asked in unison , I nod "Yea , just ....I kinda get him ya know . Being denied love just because your different. Sorta a relatable problem , If they were in love why did the dad give a crap . Love is love ." I said with a small chuckle , They both looked at me with a smile " Geeze F/n you sound like you have experience with it ." , I shake my head " Nah , not much of a romancer , not allot of people enjoy a boring day to day guy like me . " Sango waved this off "I don't believe it, the mundane of someone's life doesn't define who they are . Some people aim for that kind of life ,but never reach it . Besides you ...are far from a 'day to day guy' she said with a slight blush . I thanked them and we talked for a bit before finally heading to bed .
The next day
Waking up groggily, I rub my eyes awake . I glance around and see everyone still asleep , I get up and head outside . Walking down the paths near the village , trying to clear my head . "Saru isn't some mindless brute , he is ....just tore up and grieving about his rejection . I know he want's me dead , but he wants me to get stronger . That proves he isn't wanting to kill some weakling he yanked into the past , he has sense maybe I can talk him out of this ?" I say to myself trying to convince myself he isn't all bad .
"Maybe some training will get my mind off of it ." I say as I with draw my slingshot and just stare at it .I shake myself out of my thoughts and draw and fire stone after stone at different targets. After I turn around quickly I found myself in a fog covered graveyard , a cold shiver runs up my back " Ok .....this is creepy . " I said in my head . " Hunter do not fear , this is a plain of existence only accessible by me ." a soft whispering voice said . I sighed slightly " Not really making me feel better here ." I explain .
Faint laughing could be heard " Sorry ,but you will have to make due with this . Now I have been watching you and your situation , you are in a very tight spot ." it said , I nod " Yeah , that's for sure. But why do you care ?"I asked , it stayed silent until it changed the subject " It seems you will need more allies , maybe one bound to you till the day you die ?" It asked , " What do you want ?" I asked . " To lend a hand ." as it said that multiple pedestals appeared with a single item on top of each one . " What these are , are items that represents yokai that your group of friends have killed one way or the other . I want you to pick one and that one will be loyal to you till the day you die ." it explained , " What's in it for you ?"I ask . " Nothing , there is nothing in it for me , I am simply making the show more entertaining ." it said honestly . I nod and look at the items , one catches my attention . A blood red comb with a small crack in it , I slowly grab it and a woman appears in destress " Please , please get me out of here !" she then disappears
" What the hell ,are they being forced into this ?" I shout , " Does it matter hunter , you now have a servant and they are connected to you ." as the voice spoke , a burning sensation over whelmed my shoulder . I tore off my shirt and saw a small seal tattoo on it . " What the fuck!" I shout . " Stop crying hunter , it's for your own good . Now take your servant and rejoin your friends ."
As quickly as It appeared it vanished , but then teleported me to the village . Spiting me out from an orb of darkness , sending my through the town and bouncing me several times of the dirt .Finally stopping at Kaede's home , I slowly open my eyes and see the woman who appeared in the darkness on top of me with a blush . I try to say something but am cut off by Inuyasha shouting " F/n get away from her !".
We both jump up "Wait wait wait !" I say shouting , The woman hiding behind me . He lowered his sword and stood there ." Ok I'm waiting ." he said annoyed . I walk up to him and explained what happened . Everyone else joined in and listened in to the story .Yura as I learned her name was , is a hair yokai . She controls hair by magic , apparently it is very dangerous .
