Practice Fight

As I lay sleeping I was gently awoken by mini licks by Kirara . I slowly opened my eyes and saw the playful cat .I give a chuckle " Ok , ok I'm awake ."  I was slightly startled by light laughing . I turn to find the source and see Sango covering her mouth . "Glade you got a laugh out of it ." I said smiling , she nodded "Yes , it was very funny . " she said with a smile . I picked up Kirara and stood up sitting her on the ground . I hop of the small wooden porch and begin searching on the ground . Sango came over with a quizzical look  ." F/n ...what are you doing ?" , I smiled " Just looking for rocks , incase we run into anything on the way to Kaede . Besides practice never hurt anyone ." I say as I sigh . "You know you really are taking everything in stride , but I have to ask ....how are you ?" she asked concerned . I looked at her "I am so freaking scared ,I feel like any second could be my last . " I then smile "Then I remember , I have you ." I say not thinking , then it hits me as she blushes bright red " I mean you guys , the group  ....." I sigh as she looks away " Ha ha y...y..yes well I..I.I should make sure everyone is ready to go ." she blurts out powerwalking away .  I shrug off the situation and keep looking for stones .

Time skip 

After traveling for a few hours we all agree to stop and rest . "We are almost there , an hour or two at most ." Miroku says as he sits . Everyone follows his lead except for me . I walk off a little ways and begin to practice ,Aiming at trees, small animals . "Hey F/n , try to hit this ." Inuyasha said as he tossed an apple into the air . I moved swiftly drawing back a rock and releasing , after a split second it caused the apple to explode from impact . Collective Wows could be heard as I turned back around and practiced on trees  .  After a bit I decide to sit and take a breather . "Geeze , it feels like it's coming natural to me . I wonder how-." I draw my slingshot and load a stone aiming it .....at nothing ..."I know your there , come out ." I say sternly , "Alright , you got me ." The demon that trapped me in the past appeared . "Not here to fight ...yet , Just hear me out and I'll be on my way ." he said with a small smirk , I stopped aiming the slingshot at him " WHat do you want ?" I ask angerly , "Introductions F/n , I am Sarutahiko Ohkami, But call me Saru. ." he said with a smile , I take a breath "I am F/n L/n , Ya know the guy you took from his own time ." I said sarcastically, he gave a chuckle " Yes ,I am aware . Not to mention you have gotten stronger and it has only been a day ." he said almost proud . I roll my eyes " Look , this fight to the death thing you have going on with me . Why me ? " I ask. he sighed "Because your family trapped me, they imprisoned  me . That can not go unpunished F/n. " . I began to shout "But Why Me!?!?" , then it clicked ."Wait ....if you kill them that would wipe the bloodline from existence....That's why me , I ..I was the first one who had no real connection to continue the  line . " I said to myself , he nodded "You figured that out faster then I thought you would , I traveled time to find one , just one people who I could punish for this act against me and it turns out it was you ." he said with a twisted grin . " You care about someone who is currently alive in my bloodline ." I say to him . He growled "Shut up . " , I looked into his eyes " And I was the farthest thing from who they are , you don't want to hurt them , just the line and you chose me to be the sacrificial lamb  .Sorry to say , you messed up choosing me ." I say with a smile ,he looked at me " What do you mean ?" , I draw back on the slingshot " I feel it , some sort of power awaking inside me . I promise you I will kill you and during your last moments while your looking up at me , I will simply turn away , Because at that moment you would become nothing to me . " I say trying to get a rise out of him ,He simply laughs " If you would like ." he said bringing up his clawed hand "We can have a test run  , If your interested that is ." his eyes glowed a deep red . I took a stance and aimed at him " If you can manage it ." I say mocking him . 

Fight start 

 Saru extended his arm towards a tree and sliced it in half , grabbing it and throwing it at me . I ran and slide forwards towards him avoiding the tree , Releasing a stone aimed at his chest . Before it hit him it hit a barrier of some kind .He laughed "Harder , try harder . " he shouted . I circled him and loaded a dart from the fight the day before and charged as much energy into it as I could and fired again . It hit his barrier with a boom and shattered it , I notice the boom had an effect of his magic and  quickly jumped back and fired another stone , hitting his face with a boom ,then a zap . He winced slightly and tossed something into the air and waved his hand . Suddenly full grown trees came down towards me . I ran towards him  avoiding them and fired two more shots , one at his face and another at his windpipe . He blocked them both . He rushed to me and grabbed my throat " You are indeed strong hunter , but let's turn it up a bit huh ." he says as he throws me to the group a good distance away . They all jump up ready to fight , I toss my hand up "NO...let me do this !" I shout as Saru floated to the ground ."My my , the little hunter has such loyal friends , How will you coop with being seen after I have won this little spar ?" he says mocking me , I laugh as I draw back another dart "Pretty well I think, wanna know why ?" I ask as I charge up the dart , He nodded "Oh please I am quivering with anticipation ." he condescended, "Because I remembered something ." I say drawing looks from the group ,Then Saru smiled "And what did you remember ?" , I aim the dart next to Saru's head instead of at it and release it , once close to him the dart booms with the energy that I stored in it , This sends him flying back and slams him to the ground . "That its the sonic booms themselves that hurt you , not the objects themselves . " I say as I draw back a stone with a grin . "Damn , he looks like he is having fun ." Inuyasha said , " Maybe not fun , but getting back at the one who hurt him , must make him feel better ." Miroku replied , Just then Kagome noticed Sango ,Shippo and Kirara watching with bated breath . Kagome smiled at Sango as she moved closer with out drawing attention. "Can't stop watching him huh?" Kagome teased lightly . Sango paid no attention to the tone "Yeah he really is picking up so much in a short amount of time , he is amazing ." she said watching intently , then snapping to realization "I mean ....he is a great fighter ." she tried to cover . 

Saru stands up growling "You are only the second person to figure that out , Maybe I underestimated you . I'll be seeing you soon Hunter ." He says while fading into thin air . I stood waiting for my uneasy feeling to subside, when it went away , I took a deep breath and flopped onto the ground "I am out of my mind , why would I willingly antagonize him !" I say whining. Inuyasha laughed " Oh come on you did fine F/n ."   I sighed "Yeah I guess , but one things for sure "I look at the wooden slingshot ." I need a better weapon ." , Kagome hears this and gives a mischievous grin

Time skip entering Kaede's village 

I follow behind the group thinking  about my weapon issue , I then felt a pressure on my head . I glance up and see Shippo sitting on top of me , I laugh " How can you keep your balance up there ?" I ask , He smiled "Fox magic ." he laughed . I shake my head playfully , "H....Hey cut it out ." he said giving my head a gentle knock . I sigh and grab him and begin tickling him "Ya gonna hit me again you little turd !"  he was laughing so hard he couldn't breath , He then went limp , I panicked " Shippo , Shippo speak to me ........" I then sigh and drop him " Well that sucks , wonder what's for dinne-" I say joking but was hit by a giant top and sent flying through the village . As I skidded to a stop with my face I just laid there . The group came running  , Shippo jumped ahead of them "F/n please don't be dead ......noooooooooooo" he said with a smirk . I sat up laughing "You lil punk ."  I say as I stand up and dust myself off . "Can we get a move on now ?" Inuyasha groaned . Everyone else laughing at the exchanges . 

As we get to a cabin an older lady comes into view and gives everyone a gentle smile . She then sees me "Kagome , looks like you brought a friend from your time . Nice to meet you young man I am Kaede ." she says politely . I smile back  "Nice to meet you I am F/n L/n "  After some time Kagome and I explained my situation. Kaede nodded " That is an ordeal , but as for this magic you wield , I seems to be an advance form of thunder and lightning magic , I know of only one group of hunters who possess   this ability    The Meiji clan ." she explained . My heart skips a beat . "That .....that is a name my mother told me about a long time ago . We are distantly related to them . .....He was telling the truth "  I say , Kaede sighs "There is more , legend has it they made a deal with a fairly powerful Yokai and betrayed them . The legend states they trapped him in a music box he gifted to  the daughter of the head of the clan because he disapproved of their relationship .  " she finally stopped talking , I sigh and stand up "F/n ? " Sango asked , "I just need some air . Ill be right back ." I then left the cabin and walked for a bit . 

" They trapped him because he was in love .....That is such shit . "I say to myself . I kick a rock gently " I mean the guy is a condescending prick ...but love is love .....right ?" I again say to myself.
