Chapter 8 | Life Goes On

"Hey, isn't that Harin?", a girl whispered to her friend. They were standing against their lockers along the hallway.

"Eo, that's her. Aish, whenever I see her... I just want to punch that flirty face", her friend added. She rolled her eyes out of annoyance.

"Taehyung too. I think he already lost his sight. How can he is interested in her. Did he use his brain too hard? I'm starting to hate him too. He is selfish and just an arrogant brat", the girls continued with the gossip.

"Evil witch"

"Son of b****"

Bang! Someone closed a locker with a strong force making the sound echoed through the hallway.

The girls jolted. The girls shut their mouth when they saw an angry boy.

"Ah, my ears' bleeding from listening to your dirty language", Jimin glared at them. He gritted his teeth.

The girls knew him. Because he always hang out with Taehyung, he got the fame unknowingly.

The girls were scared. It was the first time they saw him got mad like that. Furthermore, they were afraid that their words would reach Taehyung.

"Jimin, we didn't know that you are there", one of the girl spoke up first awkwardly.

"So what? You will speak more nicely if I'm around you? That's so hypocrite", Jimin smirked at her. The girl was shocked by the harsh words yet she just kept quiet.

She wouldn't dare to fight him.

"That evil witch and that son of the b**** are my friends. Once you declared that you're going against them, you also need to face me", Jimin gave them some warning indirectly.

The girls gulped down their saliva hardly upon hearing the warning from him. There was no lie detected from his mouth.

"Also, mirror yourself before speak about others. That you'll will know who are the real bit**es", Jimin still glaring at them. From the start, his eyes never leave the figures. He looked like that he was ready to bite anyone who come in his way.

The girls felt like he shot daggers towards them mentally. His words hurt them.

"Wae? Your heart felt hurt? That's how Harin and Taehyung would feel if they hear your words too", Jimin said coolly. He raised one of his eyebrows proudly.

There was a long gap of silent.

"Jimin, why are you still here? Let's play basketball now. You're wasting our precious time", Yoongi suddenly showed up out of nowhere with his girlfriend, Ha Nah.

"Sunbae, I'm on my way just now but... I met some people who don't know their places. So I thought them some manners", Jimin replied while eyeing the girls.

Yoongi turned his head to Ha Nah and she looked at him with a questionable face.

Yoongi then smiled. His gummy smile appeared after hearing that savage reply.

"Really? Well done. Now let's go", Yoongi dragged Ha Nah away and followed by Jimin.  They walked together leaving the girls.

The girls were really embarrassed about what happened just now.

The awkwardness filled the room because of what happened yesterday at Harin's house.

They didn't know what to talk about so they just did their own activities.

As usual, Taehyung scribbled his notes on the black board which filling the whole blackboard. Meanwhile Harin, she didn't know what to do so she just watching him from the back of the class.

Suddenly, Taehyung cleared his throat.

"Did you enjoy the view of my back?", he asked playfully without turning his head. He just continued writing on the blackboard like he never ask the question.

Harin was embarrassed. Her cheeks was red  as the blood rushed out to her cheeks. She cupped her cheeks to cover it. She pouted.

"It wasn't your fault", Taehyung said with a low voice. He meant to the incident that happened 6 years ago.

'No, it was my fault'

"You just want to help him", Taehyung continued.

'If I didn't ask him to meet him that day, he wouldn't that die in a tragic way'

"It's all our fate that need to be accepted", Taehyung said again. He was hoping for a reply actually.

'I killed their family. If Hyun didn't die that day, his mom also would still alive. She wouldn't commit suicide and left the world like that'

"Harin... It was really not your fault", this time, Taehyung turned around. He was facing Harin who had her head down.

After a while, Harin  lifted up her head.

"Because it would happen even when you didn't want it. It still happened even if you want to prevent it so much. That's  what we called fate"

"Accept it"

"You don't need to forget about what happened. You can keep it for the rest of your life"

"Just move on with the past event"

"Cause life goes on", Taehyung smiled widely, showing his boxy smile. He wanted to cheer her up. He wanted to comfort her.
