"I'm home!", said Harin as soon as she stepped her right foot inside her house although she knew that no one would answer that.

She entered the medium-sized apartment that her parent bought for her.

It was two years ago that she decided two move out from her parent house. She felt alone too there. Why bother wasting her energy over something trivial like that?

The atmosphere felt unusually heavy.

Harin sighed. Her eyes wandered around the silent room. She entered the house lifelessly and dropped her body on the sift sofa.

She brushed the sofa slowly with her small hand.

She closed her eyes. She didn't realize that she fell asleep after that. She only woke up from her nap when the sunlight hit her face softly.

The reddish orange light came across her sight as soon as she opened her eyes. She frowned because of the light and raised her hand to blocked the light from hitting her eyes directly.

"Harin!! Look at the sunset! It's breathtaking", a boy exclaimed excitedly while pointing at the view with his index finger.

He tried to grabbed Harin's attention who was busy with her sand castle. Harin looked up and saw the magnificent scenery.

"Uwa! It's really is!", Harin said. Her eyes were glued at the view.

Suddenly, the boy grabbed her arms. She stood up because of the action.

"Hey, what're you doin'?", Harin was startled at first but the boy just smiled.

"Let's run along the seaside. Let our bodies get showered by the orange sunlight and let our feet touch this yellow sand", the boy said. Harin just followed his steps.

They giggled because of the happiness that they felt without knowing that it was the last time they got to do it together.

And never again....

"Damn it. Those memories... It hurts so much", Harin gritted her teeth. Her eyes were wet by the tears that threatened to fall.

"Kang Harin", Mrs Kim, their literature teacher called her name. She was handing her students exam paper.

Harin got up from her seat. Mrs. Kim smiled widely when she walked towards the front.

"Congrats! As usual, Harin got the highest mark in literature", said the teacher. Her classmates clapped their hands. It was a normal thing for them.

"Thanks, Mrs. Kim", Harin smiled while taking her exams paper.

"I'm looking forward for the upcoming contest. Meet me at the teachers' room after class", said Mrs. Kim.

Harin nodded her head. She sighed. She wished to run from this.

----------------------

"This is the form that you need to fill in. Hand me this form by tomorrow. I hope we can get in top ranks this year", Mrs. Kim smiled widely. She was hoping much from ger student.

Looking at the excited face of her teacher, Harin felt guilty. She wanted to withdraw from the contest but she couldn't. She couldn't let Mrs. Kim down.

"Of course, ma'am. I will do my best this year", Harin smiled forcefully.

"That's good to hear. You can go now. If you need any help, please come to me", Mrs. Kim said.

Harin excused herself. Slowly, she exited the room. With heavy steps, she walked along the corridor towards her class. Her class was not so far from the teachers' room.

She was sunk in her thought when suddenly she stopped in front of an empty classroom. She sighed. She need to gain strength. Looking at the form, she was frustrated by her mixed feelings.

"Haish.... What do I do now?", her head hung low. She suddenly lost her confidence in joining the contest.

"Our earth take 365¼ days to complete its circulation around the sun... ", she heard someone was talking inside the empty classroom. She turned her head, facing the door of the empty classroom.

She frowned. She felt really curious. It was a male voice.

"Is there someone inside? ", somehow, she couldn't ignore her curiosity.

She hold the handle tightly and after taking a breath, she opened the the door.

She saw him, a figure who was standing in front of the blackboard. He was writing something on it as it was full of notes.

He stopped writing when he realizes that there was someone else in the room too. Their eyes met. The light behind him made him glowing like a star. The wind from the outside blew up the curtain.

"Who are you? ", he asked curiously as he tilted his head to the right. He was still holding a book with his left hand and a chalk was in his right hand.

He stared at her.

She admired him.
