Monday – 5 P. M.

"Kenma! Stop tossing the sets to our side!" Shiro called him out.

'Dammit, can't get away with slacking from her either? She's almost worse than Kuroo,' he bit his lips grudgingly.

Thump

Phweep!!!

"Game set! Team puppy wins, 25-23, 25-20," Inuoka, a first-year, announced.

Lev clenched his fist and grunted, "We'll win the next one!"

"Um, you're the only one on our team that gets to keep their role, yet your blocks and receives were worse than Kenma's dodgy spikes," Kuroo sneered.

"Grr..."

"Hey, Kozume-san," Shiro ducked under the net and walked to the other side of the court.

"Just call me Kenma."

"Kenma. Stop pretending to dig if you're just gonna let Kuroo spike it. That's no different from your usual play anyway."

"Ugh, fine. None of you are letting me score with a feint either. This is frustrating. I might get a fever after," he mumbled.

"Come to think of it, Shiro's blocks aren't tall or powerful, but she forces the opponent to hit how she wants them to. Comparing this to our usual 3-on-3, Kenma only scored one point off of a feint and she didn't even let Kuroo score block points," Yaku pondered.

"It's borderline scary to think that she does all that without actually having a strong technical point," Kai pointed out from the sideline.

"But she dug Kuroo-san's killer serve," Lev tilted his head.

"That was a total fluke though. I knew exactly where it would land, but there's no guaranteeing that I can save the ball every time," she explained. "But then again, I still scored off that one."

"Ergh... Your defense is so annoying, I'm starting to sympathize with people I've blocked," Kuroo followed his team to the other side of the court.

"Don't expect me to spike a great line shot or anything fancy. I'm not a wing spiker to begin with. Your sets are incredibly predictable and unstable too," Kenma bluntly stated.

"Complain much? I'm not a setter okay?!"

"Me neither," Yamamoto agreed.

"And I'm not even a guy or a player in your team. So, will you just shut up and practice as usual?" the manager interrupted.
