Wednesday – 20:00 P. M.
"You sure you'll be alright?" the concerned senpai loomed over his friend.
"Yes, go home now," she pushed him by the chest.
"Eat a healthy dinner."
"Yes, dad! Go home and take care of yourself too. Who's gonna help if you fall sick, huh?"
"Well, I was hoping you would."
"Urgh, now you're just annoying."
"Fine, I'll go now," he marched away and waved with his coat on his shoulder.
Shiro opened her front door and was greeted by a tiny creature licking her foot. In the darkness of her house, she let out a scream and climbed on top of the patio railing. A rushed footstep boomed around her street before her gate banged open.
"What happened?" he panted.
"T-there's something in my house," she pointed at her door.
"What do you mean? What was it?"
"I don't know, it was dark. I felt something move near my legs and I heard some rustling and clicking on the floor."
Kuroo snagged his phone out and turned his phone flash on before gesturing to her to open the door.
"My keys are inside. Can you use yours?"
'I guess everything does happen for a reason,' he sighed.
He opened the door gently and pointed his phone at the floor. The two crept inside as the homeowner flicked the lights on.

"Kya!" Shiro hid behind her friend as the creature came running at her.
The captain gasped and shielded her from it, "What a cute puppy!"
"What?" she peered from behind him.
A small Akita Inu emerged from underneath the dining table and wagged its tiny tail. Shiro's eyes widened at the surprising occurrence. The dog ran over to her and attempted to sniff her feet again with its cold snout.
"Eek!" she threw her back on the ground and jumped on Kuroo's back. "Get it away from me."
"Agh! It would be nice if you didn't choke me," he held onto her legs. "What would people say if they see us like this?"
"Why would I care about that now? Get it in the living room," pure fear in her voice.
'Oh, she isn't joking,' Kuroo led the puppy into the designated room and closed the door on it.
"You can come down now."
Shiro opened her eyes and let go of him, "W-why is there a dog in my house?"
"I think it came with that letter," he pointed at a piece of card on the table.
They sat on the dining table as she read through it. The tiny canine was whining and scratching on the door, crying to be let out. The captain furrowed his eyebrows as his junior crumpled up the paper and shoot it into the trash can behind him.
"That jerk!" she huffed.
"What now?"
"My dad told his friend that I could shelter one of their puppies for them. I can't believe he forgot that I'm not fond of them."
"You hate dogs?"
"It's not like that...they're cute for afar I guess..."
"Inu-chan, are you scared of dogs?" amusement aroused in his eyes.
