**Meanwhile**:
He sat in his car watching as the three men came out of the hotel, followed by three other men...undercover officers! They had been surrounded by them in every city they went to, never leaving any of the three men alone all because of him! Having the addition of the officers didn't make his quest for revenge harder, no it made it much more fun! He already knew how he was going to get past the cops, he was just waiting for the right moment to begin his game! As he watched the three men laughing with the undercovers his anger grew, he wouldn't wait any longer he'd begin tonight! He knew it was a foolish move to stray even a little from his plan, but the timing truly didn't matter as long as he kept to the rest of the plan! He'd have to wait for a couple of weeks before they were back in his hometown to be able to fully complete his plan. He had bought a ticket to tonight's show and he was going to enjoy watching how his return messed with the men!
**Later**:
Dean peeked around the corner, yes, he had lost him! Now maybe he could have a few seconds to himself to breathe! He headed for his locker room smiling, he opened the door his smile instantly disappeared seeing Seth and Roman talking to all three undercovers.
"Dean Ambrose, you promised!" Seth said angrily.
"Mr. Ambrose, how are we supposed to do our job, if you keep ducking us? We're here to keep you safe!" His undercover said annoyed.
"They aren't the enemy D!" Roman added just as angry.
"Alright, I'm sorry! I'll behave from now on, I promise!" Dean said sitting.
"We'll wait for you outside." Another undercover said as they left.
"Go ahead!" Dean said as he stood and began getting changed. "Say it, I know you both want too!"
"Fine! Dammit Dean, what the hell is wrong with you?" Seth demanded.
"You want to know what's wrong? This, this whole damn situation is what's wrong with me okay? I...I can't escape King, even if I wanted to because he's out there somewhere waiting to finish what he started!" Dean yelled as he paced. "I'm tired, so damn tired of looking over my shoulder wondering if he's going to show up! I'm tired of being a damn victim!" He yelled throwing his bag across the room.
"Dean, we...we're sorry. We didn't know you felt this way." Seth said gently, Roman agreed.
"Yeah, well I'm not good with talking about emotions and crap!" Dean said pacing again.
"We know." Roman said gently.
"I...I feel like I'm in prison, I have no freedom! I'm being smothered, and King's lurking somewhere enjoying all of this!"
"Come here." Seth said gently as he took Dean in his arms. "It won't be like this forever babe."
"I know, I'm sorry." Dean said his face buried in Seth's neck.
"Come on, we have a match." Roman said smiling.
"I'll meet you guys out in the hall, I just need a second to get my ass together." Dean said pulling away from Seth.
"Alright man." Roman said hugging Dean before they left.
Once alone Dean sat down running his hands through his hair, he couldn't believe how he was letting King get to him. He stood up and was about to leave when his phone went off, confused he took it out of his jacket and opened the text, his heart beating fast as he read the words on the screen.
Hello Dean! Miss me? I'm back, and I'm coming for my revenge! Good luck tonight!
Dean's anger took control, and before he could stop himself, he texted King back.
D: You cowardly bastard! Where the hell are you?
K: Closer than you think!
D: I'm not afraid of you King! Come and get your revenge, so I can end you!
K: I'll see you soon Deanie, real soon!
Dean didn't have a chance to text back, or erase the messages as Seth came back into the locker room smiling, Dean put his phone away.
"You on the phone?" Seth asked.
"No, I was just checking the time." Dean lied, it sounded lame even to him, but it was the best he could come up with on the spot. "Ready to go kick some ass?"
"Always!" Seth answered smiling as he kissed Dean.
**Two Weeks Later**:
Dean had no more contact with King and that worried him! He didn't tell Seth or Roman about the texts, not wanting them to worry. He knew he should have erased the messages, but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to. Dean thought he hid his nervousness from them, but he was wrong; since the night of the text's both Seth and Roman knew something was wrong with him. They said nothing to Dean though believing he'd come to them if something was wrong; especially after they made that no secret pact. As the days past, and he still didn't say anything Seth decided to do a little snooping, he waited until they were back at the hotel and Dean was in the shower. As soon as he heard the water, he rushed to Dean's jacket and took out his phone, hoping that they were wrong about Dean. As Seth found the messages, he felt his heart drop not only at King's words, but also because Dean had once again lied to them!
"Hey Two-Tones, I need you to...what the hell are you doing?" Dean demanded angrily from behind Seth.
"Dean!" Seth said turning to find Dean standing behind him wearing only a towel around his waist, wet from his shower, he was furious.
"What are you doing with my phone?" Dean demanded again.
"Finding out you lied to us again! We knew something was wrong!" Seth answered just as angry.
"So, you looked through my damn phone, instead of oh, I don't know...asking me?" Dean said angrily as he threw some clothes on. "Dammit Seth, I'm your boyfriend you could have asked me!"
"Would you have told us?" Seth questioned.
"What's going on? I can hear you down the hall!" Roman demanded as he came into the room.
"This!" Seth said angrily locking eyes with Dean as he tossed Roman the phone, he read the messages.
"These messages are from two weeks ago!" Roman said angrily. "He texted you and you didn't tell us?"
"No, dad I didn't tell you and mom!" Dean answered starring at them.
"Dammit Dean, we made a pact remember? We all agreed to it!" Roman yelled. "When were you going to tell us huh Ambrose? After he puts you in the hospital again?"
"This, this is why! You two would over react and I'd be on complete lock-down!" Dean yelled.
"Dean, this is serious! He almost killed you last time!" Seth yelled.
"Really Seth? Thanks for the damn history lesson, but I don't need it I was there remember? You know what? I'm out of here!" Dean said turning to leave.
"What? Where are you going?" Seth demanded, as Dean put his shoes and jacket on.
"Out!" He answered grabbing his keys before he left slamming the door.
