CHAPTER NO.6 (Dylan)

I was lying on the bed. Suddenly my phone rang and I picked it up to see who it was.

Professor Johnson was calling me. He was my teacher when I was young and I was so shocked because he never called me at all.

Why is he even calling me?

I received the call and said, "Hello teacher! How are you?"

He replied, "Hi Dylan! I am fine, thank you. How are your days going?"

"They are going good professor. Why did you called? Is everything alright?"

"Yes everything is fine. I just wanted to meet you. I want you to come to my office right now."

"Okay teacher. I am coming right now."

I finished the call and put my phone in the pocket. I stood in front of the mirror and brushed my hair. Then I was ready to go. I sat in my car and went to Professor Johnson's house.

I rang the bell of the Teacher's house. Then someone came out and I realised that it was my teacher. I said, "Hi Professor. Wow you have changed a lot."

He laughed and then hugged me.

Then he said, "You are a grown up now. I am so hapoy to see you. Come in."

I went in the office with him. His office was so beautiful. There were so many plants. And it felt so good. He took me to a room. We went and sat there on the sofas. His servant brought two cups of tea for us.

Professor Johnson said, "How's your acting going?"

I replied with confidence, "It's going great. I shooted the last scene of the advertisement yesterday. Acting is a difficult job."

He said, "Yes, acting takes up a lot of time and it is a difficult one too. I called you here because I want to tell you something really amazing."

'And why is he telling me something amazing? Wired.'

Professor Johnson said, "I am going to tell you my real identity today."

"What do you mean? Are you not a teacher in real?"

"I am a teacher but I am also a detective like you and I have a team of my own too.

'Wow! So that was actually crazy.'

I said, "Wait! What? You are a detective?"

"Yes. Me and my team solve crimes."

"This is insane."

He laughed then said, "But this is not the time to have fun. This talk between you and me is a serious one. Have you noticed some wierd things going on recently?"

"Yes I have. Like I have seen some people wearing a black dress with a skull on their back of the jackets or so many people are dying."

"Yes. Those people are actually doing some bad stuff. They are killing people. Have you heard the news?"

"Yes I have. I heard the news yesterday and I came to know that some people were found dead in an office. This is scary."

"Yes I know, this is scary. Me and my team have tried to find out who they are but unfortunately we can't find them. And there was a mall which was blasted two days ago. Your house also got blasted. And these matters are out of my hands now. I need someone who can help me with this and I want you to be the one."

"Wait! What? Me?"

"Yes you. You are an amazing detective. You are so talented. And you have solved so many difficult cases. I want two people in my team. So you have to take someone else too. And that person should be good in solving these things. So what do you say?"

"I don't know. I need to think about it. Please give me sometime so that I can think."

"Okay as you wish. But you only have two days. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Good. So did you made any friends? You didn't had friends in school too."

"No I don't have friends. I only once or maybe twice talked to a girl named Anna. But we are not friends. She was the only one who was with me in the hospital."

"So why don't you ask her if she is interested in doing this task?"

"I don't know. But I will try to ask her."

"Good. But make sure that she should be good in doing such things."

"Okay okay. I should be going now. It's been quite a while since I came here. "

I stood up from the chair and shaked hands with the teacher and went and sat in the car. I still was so shocked about what the Professor had said.

'Shall I join the team? Or shall I help them? Shall I ask Anna to be my partner in this task? What if she refuses? Then what will I do? Who will I ask if she refuses?'

My brain was hurting so much. I couldn't make the decision. It was being hard for me. Then I calmed down myself and then I said to myself, 'I should ask Anna. And I guess she won't refuse to be my partner. Besides she helped me a lot in the past few days. It's hilarious when I think about how we met. Just because of that necklace so much happened. Though I am glad we met.'

I reached my house and was so tired so I just went in and slept for the next I have no idea how many hours.
