I found out about the girl not even a week ago. My dads been disappearing more often. He's tryna get a job.

I go back to the door. I knock. She knocked back. It was like she was waiting. "Hello." I said. She took a little to respond.

"Hello. I'm Jean. I live in here. What's it like out there?" She questioned. I was happy to find a friend.

"It's cool. There so much to do. I can read and draw. I go to school. I do homework. There's lots of other things." I told her.

I could hear her sigh.

"What does the outside world look like?" She asked. I sure was curious about this girl.

"It's beautiful In my opinion. Blue sky and green grass beautiful okays and stuff. It's amazing." I told her. She seemed sad.

I once again heard my dad pull up. "I have to go. We can talk another time." I told her. She only sighed as I walked away.

I wasn't ready to speak to my dad about it. Little did I know I'd I ready soon.
