We just pulled up to my house. Everyone got out and my dad ran to the door. Wow eager much, I said. He laughed at me and tried to open the door. I face palmed myself and threw my keys at him. First one to your room wins, Anthony said. Bet, I said. I darted to the door and up to my room. I got in right before Anthony did. Wow you guys need to take up running again, I said. The 2 of them laughed and Anthony jumped onto my bed. You guys can sit down, I said. Avani and Olivia both sat down on my bed. So you 2 have some explaining to do, I said. Ant run, Kio said. I ran over to my door and blocked it. Damn it, Anthony said. Too slow, I said. They sat back down and I moved away from the door. Is it still here, Anthony said. Go check, I said. He got up and ran out of my room. He came running back in all happy. It's still here, Anthony said. So you didn't change anything after everything went down, Kio said. Couldn't bring myself to do it, I said. I see you no longer have the mirror, Kio said. I got up and pulled the mirror out of my closet. Just because I don't have it on the wall doesn't mean anything, I said. Anthony grabbed the mirror and put it back on the wall. I smelt something burning. We all ran downstairs. I raced into the kitchen and stopped my dad from cooking. I threw it away washed the pan and remade it. There next time please ask for help, I said. Yes we do not need something catching fire in here, Kio said. My dad smiled at us and we all went back to my room. I made sure to avoid the mirror. Why don't you look in the mirror, Anthony said. I can't, I said. I sat down in front of it with my back facing it. Seeing as Kio was the one who gave it to me he can see the image it creates. Sofie, Kio said. Hmm, I said. Why that, Kio said. Cause things might have ended differently, I said. Anthony looked somewhat confused and the girls had no idea what was happening. Kio got up and gave me a hug. I looked in the mirror as he hugged me. I clapped my hands over my mouth. Sofie what is it, Anthony said. I need some air, I said. I got up and walked out of my room. Obviously one of the girls followed me I could feel it. I walked into a room and sat down. Hey are you ok, Avani said. Not really but I'll be fine, I said. She sat down next to me. You want to talk about it, Avani said. The 3 of us had been friends since we were 4 and when we all turned 13 Kio asked me to be his girlfriend he gave me that mirror as a gift but it's enchanted so whenever I look into it I see what I want the most or images of the future so when it got to were I couldn't handle it anymore I put the mirror in my closet, I said. So because Kio gave it to you out of love the both if you are the only ones who can see what happens in the mirror, Avani said. Yeah but the thing I want the most is to go back in time and fix something but I can't, I said. What do you want to fix, Avani said. I was 14 and at a party someone spiked the punch so I was a bit tipsy and I tripped over someone's foot and fell on to a boy. Another student took a picture and told Kio that I was cheating on him and he broke it off without letting me explain what happened, I said. The boy you fell on did you kiss him, Avani said. No as soon as I landed I got up, I said. When you left the room what did you see that made you not want to be there, Avani said. Olivia she is going to cheat and Kio will end up in the hospital, I said. You needed air because after seeing the only person who truly understands you in the hospital you felt like you were about to pass out, Avani said. I nodded and she gave me a hug. We got up and walked back to the room laughing at what the other was saying. We walked in laughing and Anthony seemed happy. Why are you so happy, I said. My bestie and baby are friends, Anthony said. Avani and I awed at him as well as laugh. I noticed Olivia not in the room. Were did Olivia go, I said. Her phone went off and a boy was asking her when she was going to his house, Anthony said. Where's Kio, Avani said. Bathroom, Anthony said. I ran and kicked down the bathroom door. I saw him there on the floor losing blood. I used my shirt to stop the bleeding and called 911. After 5 minutes they were here. Is anyone here his family, the paramedic said. I put my hand in the air and got in the ambulance with him. Meet you there, Avani said. I nodded and the door closed and we took off. When we got there they took him to a hospital room and I went with them. He lost a lot of blood but he is fine, the doctor said. Thank you, I said. He smiled and walked out of the room. Just as he left Avani, Anthony, and my dad came in. Is he going to be ok, Anthony said. He will be fine just passed out from the amount of blood loss and is getting a blood transfusion into his system, I said. You know when I said he was in the bathroom that is the fastest I have ever seen you move, Anthony said. You broke your bathroom door didn't you, Drake said. Yeah sorry dad, I said. You saved his life so I'm not mad, Drake said. I smiled and sat down next to his bed. Anthony sat down in the chair next to me and Avani sat on his lap.
