[On Sodor, Diesel 10 and Junior are approaching the smelters yard.]
Junior: I'm sorry, Lily. I'm sorry, Cous. I haven't been whatever it is. Responsible, reliable, really useful. I will be! I will be!
[Diesel 10 pounds into the smelters, and grinds to a halt when he see James in front of him. Junior is flung into the air and lands on James' cab roof.]
Junior: James!
[Junior blows his whistle, but nothing happens.]
Diesel 10: So you've lost your sparkle too, huh? Bye-Bye Twinkle Toes.
Junior: Oh! It's empty.
Diesel 10: Here we go.
[Diesel 10 moves towards James, who backs away towards the furnace.]
James: Junior, what are we gonna do?
Junior: We'll think of something.
'Diesel 10: That's it.
[Junior watches in horror as James' tender slowly pushes the buffers out of place. Then he suddenly remembers the supply of gold dust that Lily was saving for her Grandpa.]
Junior: I'll find you some more, Lily. I promise. But if I'm going to be any help at all, it's now or never. I've got to use up the rest of this stuff.
[The buffers behind James fall into the furnace.]
Diesel 10: Are you ready?
James: No, we're not.
Junior: James the brains, get us out of here.
[Junior blows his whistle.]
James: Now we are.
[James and Junior sparkle away.]
Diesel 10: What the...
[James and Junior cheer as they sparkle to a well, where Mr. Conductor is resting. Junior jumps off of James.]
Junior: Bye, James.
James: Bye, Junior.
[Junior sneezes as James puffs away, then he walks over to Mr. Conductor.]
Junior: Sorry I've been so long, Cous. But better late than never?
Mr. Conductor: Junior, we are all out of gold dust, aren't we?
Junior: Bankrupt. Hey, it's a beautiful day! I mean we're down, but we're not out.
Mr. Conductor: No, we're out. But we are not down.
