"first we have to find some rope I might have a idea on where to look" Norman said
"We'll meet at the hallway at 10" you said you and Norman walked up the stairs but Emma pulled you guys back
"Wait! If they have tracking devices on us then what if there are cameras or listening devices also?" Emma asked worried
"Don't worry Y/N and I already took a look around there's nothing like that here" Norman said
"Wait you guys did?" Emma asked
"Yeah" you said
"And I wouldn't have guessed. If the security aren't located on the building or on us" Norman said
You three walked up
"Norman. Y/N. Do you think mom already knows we went all the way to the wall?" Emma asked as she followed you and Norman
"We doubt it when we tried to deliver little bunny it didn't seem like she knew we were there" you said
"That's good" Emma said
"That tells us mom doesn't know where we are at any given time she can only tell our location when she checks" Norman said
"But what she does know is that somebody or some people other than Conny brought little bunny to the gate at that night" you said "however I don't think she has figured out who yet otherwise she wouldn't have warned us so indirectly"
"That makes sense" Emma said and you nodded then don came out
"Oh hey Norman do you have a second? The clock in our room is busted or something" he said
"Sure thing I'll be right there! It will be fine Emma she has no reason to suspect us three" Norman said and walked into the room
You leaned on the wall and Emma put her hand where Conny's drawing was then mother appeared she didn't have this soft look in her eyes instead she had the same deadly look when you guys were under the truck
"What's wrong Emma? Your looking a bit pale and Y/N you look a bit tired not like usual something happen? I noticed earlier you weren't your cheery self" she said as she put her hand behind Emma's ear you got distracted by thinking
Wait... she always puts her hand near our ears... maybe Norman and me were wrong maybe the trackers are on us you thought the ear? Maybe you got back to Ray ringing the bell
"Foods done. Time to wash up for dinner come on Y/N" he said and you walked over grabbing his hand and everybody rushed out of the room
"I'll be right there" mom said
You and Ray walked down the stairs and he dragged you behind the stairs
"Ra-" you said and he cut you off by putting his hand against your mouth then you hear Emma drop and Norman walking over to her you think he was giving his hand to help her up then he pulled her up they started walking away then you and Ray appeared
"What was that for?" You asked
"Nothing nothing now let's go" he said and he dragged you to the dining room
You honestly didn't feel like eating so you excused yourself and went to the library sitting down on the ladder and reading till it was time to sleep
Once everybody was asleep you, Emma, and Norman went to the supply closet or whatever and you picked the lock and everybody went inside while you looked out
It was the next day and you guys were at the wall
"This was a good idea Norman using spare tablecloths" Emma said you nodded and took them out under your shirt
"These can be used as rope" he said and you guys started making rope and places it into the tree
"Now we have something to climb over the wall" Emma said
"But we still have to figure out the hard parts" Norman said
"How to the tracking devices" Emma said
"And how to take everyone else when we escape" Norman said
"Hey Norman, Y/N, I think it'd be a good idea to tell Ray and hear his opinion" Emma said
"I was thinking the very same thing I was thinking Ray would be the least likely to panic because he know a lot he is good at working with Machines he would be a asset to our plan but..." Norman said
"But what?" You and Emma asked
"Tell you what I'll talk to Ray myself why don't you head back to the house-" Norman got cut off by you and Ray
"Why not now?" You and Ray asked you already noticed he was following
"Ray!" Emma said as he walked out
"Yo" he said calmly "hey sorry I followed you guys" you all gasped instead of you, you weren't very shocked since you already noticed "it's been bugging me all day so I thought I should just come out and ask you" he said as he handed you the book and then put his hand around Norman and Emma's neck "tell me what happened at the gate the other night you know when you guys tried to take little bunny to Conny" he said and Norman made a weird face
You were leaning on the tree as you watched Ray basically choke your best friends
"You all were acting a bit weirder than usual and plus Y/N even cried and you were empty-handed even though you didn't see her" Ray said
"Your so sharp" Norman said
Ray tightened his grip "so I assumed something must have happened now spill it!" Ray yelled
"O- ow- aren't you a clever one and why isn't my Y/N also getting choked?" Emma asked
"Because she doesn't need to be" Ray said
"Because I'm his favorite" you said
"I wouldn't say it that way" Ray said
"I'm kidding it's because I would probably flip him if he did" you said
After you guys explained everything he caught up quickly
"Demons huh? A farm? Mom is the enemy? This is bad" Ray said
"He catches on fast!" Emma said
"So that means this whole time moms been taking care of us and feeding us so well so we can get shipped out and become demon food" Ray said
"Actually I'm surprised your ready to believe this so easily" Emma said
"Huh? Of course I believe it Norman and Y/N wouldn't make up such a unbelievably dumb lie they're not you Emma" Ray said you grabbed the book and read through it and Emma sighed defeated "so if we're really going to make a break for it we need to address a couple things first is the number of kids we should narrow it down to those who can make it" Ray said and Emma interrupted
"Wait! We're leaving here and taking everyone and to make that happen we need you!" Emma said you climbed up the tree and sat on the tree branch where it was safe
"Everyone? Your kidding right? There are 38 kids here and most of them aren't even 6 years old yet there's mom, demons, homing beacons those factors take a bad situation and make it worse you want the impossible" Ray said
