"emma calm down! you were probably just tired. try to not think about" luna said calming down her friend "luna that's the problem! I have to tell him at some point!"

"tell him what?" a deep voice spoke. emma knew that voice anywhere.

"hi cedric" emma said embarrassed hoping he didn't hear the full conversation

"sooo what are we talking about?"

"not much I was just about to.... go sit at the slytherin table, yeah! I really want to see my brother!" emma spoke through a forced awkward smile.

"ok well I'll see you later today, right?"

emma nodded and quickly headed for the slytherin table. once she got there she quickly sat down next to draco just as he spoke "woah! em are you ok?"

"fine" emma blurted.

"are you on your period?"

"draco! you can't ask girls that! but are you?" theo added in

"I should have sat with hermione. I'd rather be questioned about everything then sit with you dimwits and no draco I am not on my period but thanks for asking!" emma replied sarcastically

"she's got a point ya know. but anyways, emma what's wrong?" adrian butted in

"do you remember the star enchantment mum put on me when I was little?"

"yes,why?"

"I read cedrics future and I think something bad will happen to him" emma answered quietly.

"oh no" theo said

"oh no? oh no what?" emma questioned

"n-nothing don't worry about it"

"theodore nott you tell me what the hell you mean, NOW!"

"I might have heard cedric say he's going to put his name in the goblet tonight." theo said with a very uncomforting forced smile.

"you're joking right?" emma screched. theo shooke his head no very fast.

emma got up and bolted over to the hufflepuff table and grabbed cedric by his arm and dragged him out of the great hall.

"slow down bunny!"

"no you don't get to 'bunny' me!"

"emma what are you on about?"

"when were you going to tell me?!"

"tell you what?"

"cedric give it up! I know about you wanting to enter the tournament!"

"em listen-"

"no! cedric it's dangerous you could die! do you think I want my best friend dying? cedric you promised me you wouldn't enter!" emma said through her now falling tears

"emma please don't cry about this."

"cedric you are so stupid! you're only doing this to impress cho chang! I know you are. you don't need eternal glory to impress a girl. you are so selfish! you care about nobody except yourself!"

"emma you're the one sound selfi-" as he got interrupted by people starting to leave the great hall to get to there first class. emma took of the necklace cedric made her when she was in her first year and threw it on the ground.

"you kept a secrect from me. we tell eachother everything. you were my first friend you always came first before draco,adiran, or even luna and hermione."

"emma I'm sorry!"

"I hate you cedric diggory." and with those words said emma walked away to the common rooms. cedric started to chase her but turned the other way to find cho. emma made it to the ravenclaw common room and made her way to her private dorm. she sat on her bed curled up in a ball crying. she had never felt more hurt in her life. she knew she'll get over it but it was the fact her best friend, her first friend, kept a secret from her especially one like this. people die in this tournament and he decided to enter. even after he promised not too.

minuets pass as she hears a knock on the door. "who is it?" she spoke.

"it's adrian. can I come in?"

"yes"

adrian opened the door to see his little sister crying. he had never seen her hurt this bad. "do you want to talk about it em?" he asked kneeling infront of her.

"he's an idiot"

"yeah he did mess up pretty bad."

"how could he do such a thing! he promised me adrian."

"yeah I know he's a real git. but em you missed your charms and potions class. I talked to dumbledor and he said you only, if you want, can go to just one or two more classes today then you're done."

"take me to astronomy"

"ok but first you need to get your uniform on"

emma nodded and went to the bathroom and got changed. she came out and adrian hugged her. he felt so bad and wanted to full on punch diggory. but he knew it would make emma more upset so he kept it in. after they hugged he took her to the astronomy tower.

"thank you adrian. you're the best brother ever. my favourite brother" emma said with a smile

"em I'm your only brother. also meet draco in the courtyard after class today"

"ok bye A"

adrian left and emma made her way into class. After class was over it started raining. draco took her into the great hall to watch people enter their names into the goblet. they sat down as viktor krum entered his name first as everyone cheered.

"what do people find attractive about him? he's nothing more then a big headed git!" emma complained

"I know! I'm obvioulsy better looking then him!" draco said back sarcastically making emma laugh.

the next person to enter their name was none other then cedric diggory. he look at emma noticing how upset she was considering she turned her head to the wall as she saw him. after he entered his name he walked over to her.

"emma where were you in study hall today?"

"my dorm."

"emma listen I said i was sorry!"

"sorry won't cut it cedric!"

"whatever" he said as he walked away.

the weasley twins ran in next "we did it lads! cooked it up just this morning"

"george what did you two do?" emma asked

"it's an aging potion! since we aren't 17 yet we decided to speed up the process" george replied

"ready fred?"
"ready george!"

the twins took the potion and jumped into the circle. they put their name in the cup and cheered until they had gotten thrown out and started growing beards. emma giggled at the sight of her friends. she had soon left and went to the library.

"hey theo!" emma said as she saw him in the hall "can you help me study? I missed potions today"

"yeah of course lets go!"

the two started walking when cedric walked up to emma

"hey can we talk?"

"cedric leave me alone"

"no I'm not leaving until you talk to me!"

"cedric seriously leave!"

"what are you going to do about it nott?"
