THE AUTHOR HAS WRITTEN THOSE WORDS FOR A REASON

If it said 'she sobbed' imagine what the girl previously described sobbing would be like. The words are there for a reason so read it individually and vision it like its described.

Okay!!

Read individual words over and over if you need to get it in your head what's going on, so you get and understand what's going on, okay?

Get into your head what's happening, paint the picture, imagine what's happening - like Harry and Louis kissing base it off what it's like, what you've seen (not too much, stick to script).

IMMERSION WITH THE WORDS OKAY! They are written for you to understand what's happening. If you're skim reading, at least get the general over view of what the personalities and situations are, how the characters act and the setting atmosphere otherwise you're gonna get lost and go back to read it all over again.

If the book is based on people IRL then picture them, their mannerisms and looks etc.

Hope that helps readers and writers know what they're in for.
