Shelby's POV

It's been a week. I haven't seen Toni in school, practicing at the gym, or on one of her 7/11 runs. Look, I know what I did was wrong. I fucked up, bigtime. The truth is, I've been in love with Toni since junior year. We both didn't have dates to the SummerFest, so we went as "friends", but we both knew that what was between us was much more than a friendship.

SummerFest is this like...weird combination of a dance and a fair. I only went because Toni demanded that she had to get some of the really mediocre fair snacks that she could never have during training. There are things from that night that I miss. That I still long for. I can't forget what happened, and when I shouted at Toni, she and I both knew that forgetting would never be an option.

"Hurry up!" I hollered. Toni had been in the bathroom for way too long and we planned on getting to SummerFest by 5:00 PM. I heard the door unlock and creak open. There she was, in the doorway. Fuck. She looked perfect. She had on Khaki shorts, a button-up Hawaiian shirt, her hair was in a messy bun, and she had on her Vans that she always wore.

"Shelby? Hey. Hellooooo. Earth to Shelby," she giggled and smirked at the fluster I had fallen into.

"Oh shit yeah um. Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yeah, how bout you pretty lady?" she asked charmingly.

I blushed and nodded in return. When I looked up from the floor where my eyes had been, she was scanning my body from my feet up to chest. She was biting her lip and giving me a gaze of pure lust that I had only dreamt of being caught in.

We got to the fair and played games for a while. Toni was getting mad at this stupid game she was playing. She was way too focused on winning me this giant teddy bear, so we took a break to get the gross fair food she wanted. She got a slushie and a pretzel, and I got popcorn and Dr. Pepper.

"I gotta run to the bathroom," I said.

"Can I come with?" she asked, smiling.

I grabbed her hand, leading her to the bathrooms.

She made her way towards me, leading me into the bathroom. She opened the first stall and shut the door behind her and pushed me against the door, her face right against mine.

"You still wanna play?" she breathed against my lips, intertwining our breaths into one.

"I mean", I got out in between gasps, "it could be kinda fun right?" I asked, leaning into her.

"Mhm", she said, looking down at my lips. I felt her hands meet the hem of my shirt. She ran her hand up and down my torso, making her way to the zipper of my shorts.

"Let me give you an early prize", she whispered into my ear.

"You think I'm letting you win?", I asked. "I'm not that easy", I whispered, taking her hand off my hips.

"You're gonna play for me", I whispered, "until I say so." I walked past her to unlock the door, swiping my hand down her chest.

"Ugh. What the fuck. Did you see that?" Toni asked, as a mini basketball clanked off the rim.

"Wow. Point guard can't make a free throw?" I retaliated. She looked back at me, her eyes filled with ardor, set ablaze by the passion she so effortlessly possessed.

Toni grabbed the last ball and with one swift motion, the ball swooshed through the hoop, setting off a buzzer.

"I'll take the big teddy bear, please." she said. She walked over to me and handed me the gift.

"Wow, look at you." I remarked.

"I told you I don't fuck around. That took like two hours fuck." she groaned. She moved closer to me, pouting in defeat. She grabbed me by the hips and placed her hand on my lower back, nudging me into her. She slipped her hand underneath my shirt and started to rub my back, playing with the hook of my bra. She moved her hands back down and held firmly onto my hips. I pushed them off playfully, leaving her startled.

I backed up, one foot after the other. "So", I said grinning, "since you won me a prize, I have to return the favor." I said, biting my lip, returning the look of lust I'd received earlier.

I motioned Toni towards me with my finger. She grabbed my hand and we ran through the parking lot, making our way to the car.

When I got to the car, I slammed Toni against the door and kissed her. I made my way down her neck, deepening my kisses, finding her sweet spot. She clenched her jaw, holding back her pleasures. She opened the door and got into the backseat.

I climbed on top of her and straddled her lap, grabbing her shirt and unbuttoning each button. I looked her body up and down and put my hands on her chest, tracing my finger down her core. I made my way back up to her face and she pressed her lips to mine, lighting a fire inside of me, fueling my deepest desires.

"Wait wait wait." Toni interrupted. "Are you sure?" she asked. I grabbed her chin and led it up to my lips.

"I'm sure." I said.

She grabbed me by the waist and settled over me. She started kissing me, making each kiss deeper and longer. She grabbed the hem of my shirt, lifting it to put her hands on my chest. As she teased my chest. She put her hand on my waistline, looking up at me, making sure I was okay to continue. I looked down and nodded.

She slipped her hand underneath my underwear and plunged two fingers into me. I grabbed her neck and pulled her close. She kissed my neck as she delved deeper into me, making her motions deeper.

I moaned, arching my back as I held onto her. She took her fingers from beneath me and put both into her mouth, consuming all that I was. She crashed into me, our lips colliding, fueling the fire she'd started in me.

She was the lighter in a world that I had only known to be so dark.
