No one's pov
"Daddy!" Dabi shouted from his play room "yes baby" hawks responded from the door, dabi squealed and ran to hawks "cudls pweas" dabi held his arms up and hawks carefully lifted him into his hip.
*two hours later*
"Sweet pea you gotta let me go so I can to the dishes" hawks said whilst trying to pry himself from dabis grip. Dabi huffed and held on tighter "nus" babi said as he pulled hawks closer. Hawks have up and walked to the couch, dabi still on his hip, and sat before putting on a movie.
After the movie had finished hawks looks to his right to see dabi Dan was fast asleep. He silently got up and started the dishes. Hawks had managed to finish the dishes just as dabi was waking up.
"Morning sleepy head, how'd you sleep?" Dabi groand and turned over falling back to sleep.
Hawks lifted dabi up and into his cot which stood next to the bed they both shared when dabi was big. Dabi remained asleep for the rest of the day and immediately started crying when he did wake up. Hawks was awakened to the sound of his baby crying "What's wrong love?" He asked in a soothing tone. Dabi was hawks and made grabby hands. Hawks picked him up and only then did he realised that dabi was burning up.
"My poor baby, you must be sick. Let's go get you some medicine"
