And she went downstairs. She looked at the time. "Oh no! Im gonna be late for school!" she groaned annoyedly. She only had time to grab a muffin before running out the dorr. She decided to walk to school and on the way she tripped over a crack in the sidewalk and dropped her muffin. "Great." she groaned again. "What a good start to my day." and then she remembered she started with science first period. "Mr thompson is gonna kill me if im late again." she mumbled. She ran toward the building and made it right on time. The only seat left was next to regina. Just great. She sat down angrily and turned her head the other way. Mr. thompson took attendance then he started talking about what they were gonna do for the next few weeks "Today you will be working in pears." mr thompson stated seriously. "And i will choose them." the entire classroom groaned. Someone even shouted "i hate you"! No one liked it when the teacher chose the pairs becaus often people didnt like there partners. "Okay so. Damian and karen, gretchen and sonja..." janis stopped listening until she heard her name bieng called. "Janis and regina." "NO!" she exclaimed. "DEFIANTLY NOT! I dont want to be her partner and tahts that." "to bad janis. deal with it." wow this day just couldnt get any better huh. reginas face was disgusted to this was going to be a looooong few weeks. "Now can i properly talk about what the project is about???" no response. "Ok. so its gonna be a project for the science fair. I want you too make something you think is gonna be good to present in front off the parents. Ok?" "yes mr thomson." everyone answered. Tjen the bell rang and everyone left. Janis grabbed her books before rejina could talk to her. Damon caught up. "Whoa- you- ran- out- of- there- fast-." he panted. "I cant believe your with regina." "i cant believe your with karen." "karens dum, i once saw he put a d in the word orange. I think its gonna be hard to do the project." "yeah, at least she seems nice enough. Regina is the devil in disguise." "tru." the bell rang again. "Ok damian, i have art now. Have fun at drama class." "thanks sweaty. You to." damian winked and rushed off. Janis sighed. This wasnt gonna be fun. Not at all.
