Chapter 4

"I'm home!" Ennoshita announced as he looked around for the cause of the noise. He assumed they were in their room after not being able to spot them in the living room or kitchen. He just went upstairs to his room and started his homework blocking out any other sound with music.

After finishing his homework and studying for an hour or two he decided to go to sleep. He'd constantly wake up lightly sobbing in the dead of night due to nightmares. After the third time waking up he decided to just stay up. He opened his window. It looks beautiful. He thought as he stared out the window at the starting sunrise. He couldn't tell what time it was so he turned on his phone eyes burning from the sudden light.

"5 am." Ennoshita squinted as he read the time. "Now what am I supposed to do... I don't go to school until a few hours."

He turned on his light and sat at his desk looking over his notes again tapping his pen on the desk. When he heard his dad yelling. It's 5 am are they arguing right now. Ennoshita sighed as he peeked out his door.

"YOU WERE HAVING AN AFFAIR! YOU FUCKING CHEATED ON ME!"

"I'm sorry!"

"WHAT THE HELL YUI! WITH WHO!? WHO WAS IT!?"

"It was a coworker from work...."

"For how long Yui?"

"It's been a few months.... maybe five."

"YUI WHAT THE HELL!? FIVE FUCKING MONTHS YOU'VE BEEN HAVING AN AFFAIR FOR FIVE FUCKING MONTHS!!!!" His dad let out a heavy sigh. "Who was it?"

"Mr.Nakamura... look I'm sorry Haru! I was drunk and.... and... I didn't know what I was doing!" Ennoshita's mom started crying.

"One time when you are drunk is one thing but this was five months!" His dad sounded like he was upset possibly crying too.

Ennoshita just quietly listened it felt unreal like he was dreaming or watching someone else's life through their eyes.

"I'm so sorry Haru. I love you."

"No! I won't want to hear it! What are we supposed to do now! Did you even think about what would happen to us!?"

"H-Haru I'm s-sorry. W-what can I do to make it up to you?"

"Get out. Pack your stuff and leave. I don't want to see you right now fuck that I don't want to see you ever!"

"Haru..."

"Don't fucking Haru me Yui! You did this! You have no right to be upset! You're the one who cheated on me!" His dad was crying now. "......Chikara?" His dad turned seeing Ennoshita who was halfway down the stairs.

Ennoshita ran back to his room slamming the door. He grabbed his backpack and a duffle bag tossing his clothes, his phone, his laptop and its charger, school books. He rushed to the bathroom grabbing his toothbrush then went downstairs to where his parents were silently standing.

"Chikara... sweetheart..." his mom looked at him.

Ennoshita mind was running hundreds of miles a minute. "I can't do this right now." He mumbled tears in his eyes. "I'm going to a friend's house...." he rushed out. She was having an affair? Is that why they've been fighting more? Are they going to get a divorce? What am I going to do? Should I go to Noya's place?

Ennoshita called Noya then hung up as it was dialing. It's 5 am Chikara, you idiot.

Ennoshita just sat on a bench for a moment. "I could call Terushima.. no I don't want to bother him right now... This was pretty dumb of you to run away from home without a plan." He sighed wiping his eyes of tears as he leaned back looking up at the sky the colors looking brighter than before. "Man it's cold." He looked down at his scream t-shirt, black shorts, and white socks he was wearing. "I forgot shoes... no wonder my feet hurt."

Ennoshita sat in silence while he thought. He sighed calling Terushima who answered only after ten seconds.

"...Hm...Enno.... you do know it's like 5:30 in the morning."

"S-sorry, I didn't want to wake you.... or bother you... sorry I'm going." Ennoshita instantly regretted calling.

"No! No! I didn't mean that. I was wonder why you are calling so early. Besides I needed to get ready for work and school anyway."

"Oh right, you have to work..."

"Mhm. Now! What's up?"

"....Can I come over?" Ennoshita started to panic a bit. "If I can't thats fine! I get it! No worries at all! I'll just figure something else out. So don't feel obligated to say yes!"

"You can come over? How far away are you? It doesn't sound like you are inside."

"I should be maybe ten minutes. Could be longer."

"Cool see you soon Enno."

"Yeah see you soon." Ennoshita hung up and sighed as he started walking again. My feet are killing me. Ennoshita knocked on Terushima's door.

"HEY ENNO!!" Terushima opened the door with a big grin that changed to a confused look as he saw the lack of shoes, duffle bag, book bag, and Ennoshita's tired, puff eyes. "... Come sit on the couch"
