I had no money, being abandoned short after I was born, I was left with nothing, not that I had anything in the first place. Even my so-called parents didn't give me a name.
Well, at least they gave birth to me, they gave me a life I supposed. Nothing else and nothing more. I was abandoned with nothing not even a keepsake like all those stories.
I was then adopted by a grandpa that found me, it was only the two of us, even though I was nobody to him, grandpa cared for me, not that I know anything about care and love, but I knew it felt nice.
When I was seven, a baby boy joins us, he was grandpa's grandson. I had feared, I would get chase away, I would be an eyesore with his real grandson now here but grandpa, he told me, he told me that I was also a part of his family.
Because of that, I also started to see the baby boy as a brother.
That was how, I continued my life with the Itadori Family.

Growing up I noticed things went your way when you were smart and that you had money, the girls in my class would often brag of things they bought all the time, their things didn't catch my attention, it was their expression.
I never had any of those, so, I wouldn't know, yet I yearn for them, with Grandpa and Yuji I felt happiness, but deep down inside me, I knew I was an outsider, I cared, yes, they care, yes.
But, was it wrong to want more?
I was smart enough but I didn't feel happy, that was the reason why I started to love money and it was true, I work part-time at a convenience store once, with the money I earned, I bought things and holding a cellphone in my hand, I felt I actually own something in this world and that made me feel something.
But what I didn't consider was fate.
I didn't know why, but I could never earn too much, it was not because I like spending, the money I had would go away without even me using them.
Simply said, I was unlucky. Hell, I was abandoned the moment I was born.
From being stolen to missing right in front of my eyes, I tried saving it at a bank and that bank was robbed, and the bank didn't give me back my money. There were also times when there was sudden accident that needed money immediately, like medical treatment when Grandpa got hurt, the appliances at home burning, I didn't mind that, not that much anyway.
At the age of 23, I was lucky enough to continue my master degree while looking for a job, but I decided not to when Grandpa was admitted to the hospital, I continued my studies but would always stay with Grandpa, Yuji would also always come after school.
And of course, Grandpa would scold us and try to send us away everything, telling us to spend more time with friends and such.
We knew we wouldn't be able to stop him from telling us that.
But we also didn't know those were his last words.
At that time, I didn't know why, but I didn't cry, it just felt like the tears weren't coming out. As Yuji's eyes pooled with tears, I walked out and report that Wasuke Itadori had passed away.

"I want money..." I slurred as I chug down my glass of beer.
"Okay, okay, slow down now, you really haven't change, (Y/n)"
Less than a month had passed since grandpa's death. Deciding to move to a bigger city, Yuji and I went to Tokyo, Yuji was only a first year so, it wasn't much of trouble, I felt bad for him to leave all his friends, but when I told him we will go to Tokyo, his eyes sparkle. My university had a partnership with one in Tokyo so, it approved when I said I was moving.
