Perverted Oliver Twist Wrecks Havoc

"Oh, welcome!" A girl with golden hair greeted. She looks almost the same as the winged-one but with lighter skin and warmer eyes. "If you're here to eat, grab a seat where you can. And if you're looking for work, head on over to the counter."

"Gotcha, thanks a lot!" Counter, huh? I guess it's those ones over there on the right. "Come on Aqua, move it. But try not to disturb anyone who's just minding there own busi—"

"Hey!" Crap. Who the hell's this brute? Looks like trouble. "Haven't seen ya'll around town before, and what's with you being topless?"

Right, I almost forgot. I've just been walking around without any shirt on, at least it wasn't my pants that were randomly missing. I still haven't got a damn clue about where my shirt actually went off to. Aqua, being useless as she is thus far, has yet to give me a straight answer.

Well, I can probably bullshit my way through this guy. If punches get thrown, we could always just dip and comeback at another time. I doubt my simple workout could do much, seeing as he's double my size.

"If you must know, we're actually travellers from distant lands hoping to become adventurers and defeat the Devil King's army — And never mind the missing shirt, my lady companion over there and I decided to rough it out last night, if you know what I mean." I added the last part as discreet as I can, but quite unfortunate for me, Aqua heard it.

"Oi Jun, do you have some kind of death wish?" Aqua says while loudly cracking her knuckles behind me.

"Calm down Aqua! I was only kidding!" I said while dragging her off a bit to the side. "I'm trying to get him off our backs, alright? Saying stuff like that usually will make people feel uncomfortable and least likely to strike up another conversation."

"Couldn't you have said something else?" She continue to argue. "The thought of an almighty goddess having sexual relations with a mere human is irking! And especially if it's someone like you."

But weren't you the one who's been praising my body back before we both got transported to this world. "Whatever, just quit being a useless goddess and go along with it for now, ok? I still don't know why I'm even half naked, so just cross your fingers that he stops bothering us."

"Fine, but stop calling me that!" She agreed. "I'll explain what actually happened later, just don't try to use me as some sort of lewd excuse a second time."

The guy coughed once to attract back our attention, seems like he doesn't want to deal with us no longer though. "Look, I ain't about to try and know your personal lives, could've just said it's private business between a lovely young couple."

"H-Hey, him and I aren't a couple!" Aqua interjected, almost stumbling on her words. Quite literally like a cliche blushing girl in an anime would be. "And don't you dare think we're friends with benefits also!"

"But besides that, if the you two really have a knack for dying, then lemme welcome you to the gate's of hell! Admissions take place are over there." He said pointing to where we were already heading towards. "Good luck, pretty boy, and try not to let yourselves become a couple of corpses by months' time!"

That takes care of that, now to finally start the real journey by signing up as an adventurer, or so I thought. Apparently you need to cough up money just to sign up. But neither I nor Aqua have anything on us with value to give. Thus, we quietly just sat on a table trying to figure out our next move.

     Damn, that lady managing the register is quite hot though. If my life here's gonna turn out to be like an actual anime-like story, then perhaps she'd be interest in joining a harem of some kind? Should I host an audition or something? I never got to experience much attention from women back in my old world.
