This chapter takes place after the events in the previous one, but a few weeks later... This will focus solely on Ren, Ony, and Thomas, enjoy :3

I walked through the castle, pondering many things, like moral, which after the mind games and my own stabbing, I felt it had decreased substantially. But the next thing I recalled was a history lesson, about a WWI Christmas "cease-fire" held by the Allies and the Axis. In this time they exchanged gifts and held festivities, even though they were enemies. But it only lasted for the Christmas Day, and the very next morn bullets were flying.

That's what I really wanted, a Christmas cease fire. Would I get it? Probably not. Still... it was worth a shot.

"This fight is getting us nowhere and my troops are growing weary..." I said, "Moral has taken a huge blow, and my soldiers missing the holidays doesn't help..."

"Stupid humans with their stupid emotions..." My lord thought for a moment. "Maybe a cease fire for the holidays? That could solve the petty 'moral' problem."

"That could work... But how could I get them to agree to such a thing?" I asked.

"I'm not the one with emotions, buddy," Herobrine said, vanishing into thin air.

"Great..." I muttered, waving a servant over and taking out a piece of parchment.

I walked up to Thomas, putting a hand on his shoulder, only to find myself face-flat on the floor with his knife to my throat.

"Happy holidays to you too," I said.

"Sorry, but you know not to sneak up on me," he smirked as he helped me up.

"Yeah, you're right..."

"And it's 'Merry Christmas', by the way."

"Anyway, can I ask you something?"

"Shoot."

"If moral were low-

"How'd you find out?" He said.

"About what?" I asked.

"Forget it," he said as he walked off before I could finish my question.

"Well shit..." I muttered.

I continued my walk and saw various things, like slash placing dispensers around the castle and wiring them with redstone and repeaters. I maybe he was preparing for a battle, placing fire charges in them... I wasn't sure. But he placed a strange item within. It was cylindrical with a long point and had a fuse running from the bottom. Huh.

"Grond?" I called out.

"Yes sir," he responded, running up to me.

"I need you to deliver a message to the enemy...," I handed him the note, making sure he heard me say not to open it.

And like that, he was off to do my bidding.

And I had the Wizard of Oz theme stuck in my head. Again.

I stood watch at the gate, through the camouflaged entrance, watching as a traveler walked by. I stepped through the shifty material with my bow drawn as he stood in surprise.
