I had gotten comfortable in my ensemble, but before I could rest, I noticed a pair of survivors outside the base. One wore a hood, and his clothes were laced with golden thread.

"We can't go back to him! He's aiming to kill Onyx!

"But what if Onyx is the bad guy?" Said a girl with dented armor and flowing blond hair. The eyeroll from the man was almost audible.

"Oh, So Herobrine, Lord of F!@#ing Evil, is the good guy now!" He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

I listened to their rather loud argument for a few more minutes in amusement, as they were clueless and did not manage to see the camouflaged fort.

After a while, I began to get a headache, and yelled, "HEY!"

They looked at me, and finally caught sight of the fortress. I saw Thomas jump down to greet them, while I descended the turret and walked through the courtyard to greet them.

"Are you Ony?" The guy asked Thomas, who shook his head and pointed towards me.

"I'm me," said I.

"Have you got any room for two lone wanderers?"

*Eye Twitch*

--------------POV ONYX----------------------

"Uh," I looked at Thomas, who's eye was twitching, and his hand going for something at his hip, but stopping midway. "Yeah, sure! We could use some more hands around here," I replied, ignoring Thomas reaction.

"Thanks! You won't regret it!" He said joyously.

By god, I hope not...

I had the Lone Wanderer escort the two to their lot, where they were free to build whatever they wished. I went back to the castle and sat in the throne, pondering if there were anymore survivors.

A girl wearing a striped hoodie (F You Auto Correct, Hoodie is a word) and jeans.

"Yes...," I replied, not remembering her name. The headache didn't help either.

"Tori," she said.

"Sorry, it's just that thing have been slipping recently-

My head suddenly started pounding, the headache from before coming back with a vengeance.

"I feel I could do more for this city."

I looked up. "Like?"

"We have been running low on resources, like food and water," she said, stating the obvious. "If I had permission..."

"In the morning. I can't open the gates at night. It's a risk I can't take, with Herobrine looking for every possible advantage possible." Wow, the headache was effecting my speech.

"I see...," she said. She then proceeded to walk out, mumbling a curse under her breath.

"Non c'e nessuno piacevole?" I said loudly, leaning back into the wooden chair, looking out the window.

A storm was raging outside, lighting arching from the gigantic black clouds.

"Ony!" Simnar called.

"Si?" I leaned forward to look at him.

"I was wondering if I could ask you something. Or rather, two somethings." He said.

"Yes?"

"NUMERO UNO!" He said dramatically. "May I see thy tomahawk?"

"Sure," I said, taking it out and handing it to him handle first.

"Two. Why are you on my throne?" He said playfully.

"Oh, I'm sorry. It was the closest seat,"

"I'm just punking ya. I'll be back with your things in just a second!" And with that, he ran out of the room, and up the steps of the turret.

I got up from the throne, and walked down the steps of the castle, gazing at the new moon that was strung high above. The serenity and recession of my headache was utterly demolished by a thunderbolt striking from the heavens.

"YES!" Onyx could hear Simnar shouting. "I AM A GENIUS! WHO'S WRONG NOW SUCKERS! AHAHAHHA!"

I ran back into the castle, and almost bumped into Simnar in the throne room, holding the tomahawk.

"May I suggest never touching that blade again?" He handed the axe to me.

Electricity arced from the weapon, blots zapping and popping, traveling between the blade. I was astounded.

"How?" I asked.

"Miracles do happen, I guess," he said with a smile.

"I'm going to have to try this out tomorrow," I said, walking to my room.

As I walked through the dimly lit corridor, something caught my eye. A silhouette.

"Onyx..."

"What?" I asked nervously.

"You... Will Pay... Herobrine demands-

I threw my tomahawk at the person, expecting it to end them.

The weapon was caught, and the lightning infused axe lit up Thomas' slightly alarmed face.

"Once again, nobody gets my jokes," he said wistfully, turning on his Pip Boy light and inspecting the axe.

"Say, did you do something to this thing? It's acting like a freaking Tesla coil."

"Well," I said, "Simnar did that. Cool, huh?"

He handed it back to me. "Indeed."

"So, what happened with the two new recruits?" I asked, suddenly remembering.

"I showed them their plot," Thomas said, then grinned. "I then called them lovebirds. Acted way too defensive for it not to be true."

I chuckled. "Why?"

"Poor wording on their part when we first met."

Oh yeah. "So, why are you up?"

He grinned again. "The darkness is one of my greatest allies. And insomnia, now that I think of it."

I rolled my eyes and went into my room. Sleep enveloped me shortly after.
