Delilah's POV

"And our last contestant today, DelilahDJ!"

Delilah quickly switched on her mic.

" Hello!" she said with a bright smile, even though nobody could see her.

"Delilah won't be using facecam on today's love or host as she does remain faceless online. Pretty cool, huh? Well go ahead and introduce yourself, Delilah!"

"Hey, so I'm Delilah, I'm 20, I'm from New York and I stream Minecraft videos!"

"Hi Delilah, nice to meet you!" Sapnap said, smiling softly at the camera. 

"Let's get this show on the road!"

As Austin began Sapnap's love or host, Delilah peered out her foggy window to find thick black clouds looming overhead. fuck. It couldn't rain. Not right now, because every time it did Delilah's internet went haywire. She couldn't have that when she was on a dating show. She was on the path to finally find her significant other and she didn't want any interruptions.

Delilah pulled herself back from her endless cycle of thoughts to notice her leg bouncing at a rather rapid pace underneath the table. She set her hand on her thigh and pushed it down in an attempt to stop it from bouncing. anxiety is shit.

"What about you Delilah, do you have any pets?" Sapnap asked.

"I do actually! Would you like to meet my pet turtle?"

The call erupted into "aww"s and "a turtle?!!".

"Oh my god, I'd love to," Sapnap laughed.

Delilah raced to the other side of her dark bedroom to her pet turtle's tank. Slowly removing the lid, she smiled and lifted the small shelled creature into her hands. She made her way back to her desk and sat down. Then she realised. She'd never turned her facecam on before. How was she supposed to show her pet to the stream? 

"Are you still there, Delilah?" Austin asked.

"Y-Yeah, I just- I've never had my facecam on on stream before" she explained with a nervous laugh.

"You don't have to show yourself, just your turtle! Only if you want to though" Sapnap said.

"Uh- yeah sure. Okay, hold on let me move my camera. Bedroom reveal I guess??" Delilah giggled.

When she had positioned the camera so she wouldn't be visible, she turned on her facecam and held the turtle up so everybody could see.

"Meet Pocky!"

"Aww, he's adorable"

"I want him!"

"He is so cuteeee"

"DelilahDJ I am booking a plane ticket to New York right now to steal Pocky from you and you can't do shit about it," Sapnap said, attempting to keep a straight face.
