She'd read them. All the comments on her last Instagram post. She hadn't thought to read them until she woke up and now, half an hour later, she was sitting on her bathroom floor attempting to keep herself together.

Why did people have to be so mean? So selfish? So... protective?

Delilah wasn't using Dream for clout. He had been the one to start talking to her, so why was she being harassed? Was he not allowed to talk to girls? Was his fandom that protective of him to the point where they would bully unfamiliar people out of his life?

She thought Dream was amazing. She hadn't asked herself what she really thought about him yet, because she wasn't sure if she knew the answer. But she did. He was hilarious, and charming, and caring. Hell, she'd only known him for two days but he was the first person she'd talked to in a while that she actually liked. Actually had an interest in talking to.

However, if the hate she was currently receiving was a part of talking to him, she couldn't do it. She wouldn't.
