Let it be known to the world- Stevie did not like most people. I mean, I don't think you would either if you grew up with a father who had a massive superiority complex and a mother who was hellbent on never leaving her bed. The only person she ever felt close to was her brother who basically acted as a father figure to her since her actual 'father' was always knee deep in cheap beer.
Stevie and Julian were never that close when their father was still an inhabitant in their lives. He was always too busy learning karate from their petty excuse of a father who had grown up participating in the martial arts. They practically ate, slept, and breathed karate. However, that all ended when one night the Aldaine family received a call stating that Antonio Aldaine had driven off the side of the road while intoxicated. For many, it was a blessing in disguise. For Morganna Aldaine, it was the complete opposite.
Morganna's husbands death most definitely hit her the hardest. It left her with severe depression which caused her to never want to get out of bed with the exception of her having to piss, and checking on her kids once in a while. That left her kids to deal with paying the rent and doing paperwork, but they didn't mind- they loved their mother, and surprisingly their dads will contained lots of money- you'd never guess that based on how he carried himself.
As the days progressed in the wake of Antonio's passing, Stevie and Julian found themselves growing closer together like a moth to a flame. I mean how could you not if you two were practically the only ones actually living in your shitty little apartment. As they finally got close enough to when she felt most comfortable, Stevie finally brought up the subject of karate to her brother. Shockingly enough, he was extremely happy to teach his little sister the art of karate. He wanted her to be prepared in any situation that turned bad so she would always be able to protect herself.
