You asked her as she opened the car door and Conan was just confused "Some Chinese food I guess, it's good" Angelia said trying to 'fit into' conans 'vibes' (lol) "I'm fine with Chinese food" Conan said smiling The three of you walked in then you remembered where this was "Omg I remember now" you said to them and then someone familiar walked towards the three of you "(Y/n) long time no see!" very well English was said. It was your childhood friend who was one of the fewer Asians in school "Omg Eugene!" You said excitedly Eugene looked at you sister then looked at Conan "Oh my gosh is that..." it seemed like Eugene knows Conan Eugene took his hand out quickly to shake his hand Conan stood there confused then quickly pulled his hands out as soon as he realised "I LOVE your music" Eugene said excitedly "Eugene what are you doing?" A not so well spoken English was said by her mother. "(Y/n) and their friENDS uhm. are here" it was obvious that he was holding back the excitement "oh oh my gosh, hi hi i haven't seen you in a few years" Eugene's mother hugged you "hi misses Goh" you hugged back (conan and angelia 🧍🏻🧍♀️) (also eugene 🧍🏻) "Come ill give you food" miss goh always liked you because you were there for Eugene when not much kids wanted to be friends with him because he was 'different' The day eugene came home after meeting you was full of joy. The three of you followed Eugene's mother to a table "I give it to you free" she was very excitedly "Wait, we are eating free? I cant do that" Conan (OUT OF HIS KINDNESS) didn't want to eat for free even if he likes saving up money "Why darling?" Ms's goh asked Conan with a friendly smile "Even if 'we' are close we should still need to pay" Conan explained "Okay... fine" ms's goh hesitate then agreed "Wow" you had no words "What can i say im a wise man" Conan joked as a reply You laughed and angelia made a forceful laugh "What do you guys want to eat?" Angelia said and cleared her throat "I'll have fried noodles" you said as you flip the pages to the drinks "I want fried rice" Conan said "Okay, fried rice and noodle. I think I'm not gonna eat, I'll drink" Angelia said casually "What drinks do you want then?" You asked her "a coke maybe?" she said with an attitude "i thought u were on a no sugar diet" you joked to her but she seems offended "I stopped that long after you felt for la" she rolled her eyes "Oh right" you grabbed a piece of paper and pencil that was beside Conan to write down your orders (sometimes in Chinese restaurants they tell u to write down on a piece of paper to take your order :)) "Miss goh we are ready!" You said loudly to get miss gosh attention "Oh alight" she rushed over and took the paper There was a moment of silence. You and your sister trying not to keep eye contact and Conan looking at his fingers and playing with them "So. Conan do you have like a label or a record?" Angelia once again trying to get to know Conan. I guess that's normal I'm overthinking about this "Yeah I'm signed to republican records and i right now have two records." Conan looked up at Angelia and answered her questions "That's so cool, how did you start singing?" She asked again "i mean.... i started singing because i knew i had a voice to sing. I think that's it" Conan was puzzled with the questions since it was a simple but hard to answer question "Right, I mean why did you become a singer" she asked again "Uhhh well. Cause i had a chance. And i took it because it was once in a life time" it was a genuine answer and it sort of made you smile hearing it "Do you guys have any thrift stores around this area?" Conan asking out of curiosity "Oh no, the nearest thrift store is pretty far" Angelia said with a pretty (PRETTY) flirtatious way. "that's okay then." He said looking back down at his fingers Angelia looked quite devastated her 'flirting' talks "Here's your food" Eugene gave you your order and went to take angelias Miss goh handed Conan his food and smiled at him the whole family was very friendly Few hours passed "I'm stuffed" you said "Same" Conan agreed with you "Do you guys need to go anywhere els- " before Angelia could finish a girl about 14-15 came up to conan "Hi are you Conan gray?" She has her older brother who looked like he was also interested in talking to Conan You whispered to angelia if she could quickly get fruits and she rolled her eyes but agreed. "Yes, hello what's both of your names?" Conan nicely greeted them "I'm Dylan and my sister is Claire" Dylan looked over the moon excited "We don't want to bother but can we get a picture with you? We are obsessed with your voice and generally you" Dylan said quickly not trying to be a bother "Your not bothering at all" Conan hugged both Dylan and Claire They took pictures then Dylan and Claire walked away looking at the photos they took with Conan By that time angelia came back annoyed "Wow more fans, Conan gray famous all around the state" you joked "It has been happening more than usual now" Conan said in confusion "Okay but do you guys still need to go anywhere else? It's getting dark" Angelia looked extremely annoyed as if a 6 year old spilled ice cream on her brand new shoes "Nope lets go back" you said to please Angelia "Okay good" she walked in the car and so did you two Minutes passed and you arrived at home "Oh your finally home. We didn't really make any dinner" your mom never makes dinner Wow I thought she would at least cook up SOMETHING since there's a guest "Oh that's fine mom we ate already and think we can settle for the night" you said as polite as you can to her while putting your dads fruit in the fridge. Conan nodded to agree with you "(Y/n) I'm not asking you, are you sure you ate enough Conan?" She cared less about you but at least she cared for the guest "Yeah im fine" Conan was sort of disturbed by the way she acted to you and walked away pulling your hand "Uh, goodnight mom" you said and she didn't say a thing back "I don't really like to interrupt in anything but (y/n) you have told me about how you hate the way your family treats you. Why aren't you standing up for yourself?" Conan said staring at you while you two were still in the hallway "Their my family, i cant disrespect them. I am the youngest here so I technically have no place to talk" you said with a bit of an upset face (idk this is so deep because sometimes it's so true, im not speaking for all family's btw!) "If you feel like that then i have to respect your decisions." Conan said smiling and walking into your room You walked to your parents room to say goodnight to your dad before you go to your room. "Good-" your dad was asleep so you closed the light and closed the door lightly "I'm so glad i took my flannel sweats they are THE best pjs" Conan exaggerated about his pants "Is that why you wear it ALL THE FUCKING TIME" you joked rolling your eyes "maybe.." he said smirking with one eyebrow raised then walked into the bathroom "Dumbass" you whispered :(
