"C'mon pick it up Y/n!"

"SHUT IT!" You snapped as you held the 70 ton statue.

"THAT IS NO WAY TO TALK TO YOUR MENTOR!"

"Ugh.. Sorry master Izunavi..."

You place the statue down slowly in order to not break it, after all you had no clue who it had belonged too, you and Master Ivunavi had found it in the forest you two habited in.

"Great that's enough for today! Good job on your training kid!" He chuckled as he messed up your hair/Patted your head.

"Thanks we should go rest now sir!"

"Yeah, One more thing Y/n!" He added.

You turn around and look at master Izunavi confused.

"Yes..?"

"Your birthdays coming up isn't it? It's
(Y/B)?"

"Oh yes! Isn't that gre-"

"You'll be turning 16... Do you still want to complete the hunter exam and your mission?" He interrupted.

"...Yes, Yes I do I can't let go of this anger even if I wanted to, the anger still fuels up inside of me..."

"Y/n..."

"I will be taking the Hunter exam this year !" You exclaimed.

Master Izunavi didn't look to happy even thought he had planned this out years ago, he had seen you as his own daughter and it hurt him to see you leave.

"Master Izunavi, don't worry i'll be back right after the exam I promise! I'll pass and    if you want we can buy lots of food with my licences~!" You him.

He laughed at your remark but then bring you into an hug.

"Y/n i'm like your father so please for my sake come back safely even if you fail, for me?"

You were shocked he never had shown you his vulnerable side but you liked to see that side of him, it really made you feel as if he was your father.

"I promise i'll come back safely." You tilt your head and smile.

"Great to hear that kiddo let's get going we still have some weeks we can use for training."

"Okay!"

You two head back to the cottage deep in the forest, no one came in this forest because of rumours going around about ghosts and spirits but of course those were just rumours to keep them out.

"Master Izunavi wake up c'mon!"
You whine.

"Y/n..? Why are you waking me up so early?"

"Have you forgotten a few days ago was my 16th birthday!"

"Yes...?"

"Today's the hunter exam!"

"Oh is that so?" He questioned.

"Jeez if i hadn't remembered you would have probably forgotten."

"My bad, I'll make breakfast quick you get ready with what you'll need!"

"Erm what should I bring...?"

"You should bring just a pocket knife and some change of clothes. Also If you want a few snacks!" He added

"Okay!"  You head back to your room and pack everything he had insisted on bringing, you had also put in a picture of you and Master Izunavi. Why? You didn't know why either, you were going to see him right after the exam ended right?
