Kalia

I sat on this cold train, waiting til I got to Hogwarts. Harry had sent be an owl 3 days ago, begging me to transfer. I don't know why, he wouldn't tell me. I hadn't seen him in a while. He always went to these other people's houses during the holidays, leaving me with the Dursley's. Dudley had a massive crush on me which made life weird. His parents would be horrible to me, but Dudley, and only when we where alone would he be nice to me. I would never ever in my entire life of living date anyone remotely like Dudley Dursley. He was a spoiled brat. Harry and I always stood up for each other. I was meant to go to Hogwarts too, but Harry and I decided against it. We always sent Hedwig, and we spoke like that. Whenever we went home I would see him for a few days but he was always in his room doing something or he was at these peoples house. The Weasley's. I've always had a little grudge against the Weasley's for talking away my big brother but I can't blame them. My brother never told anyone about me and I never told anyone about him. We just happened to have the same last name, or so everyone else thought. The ministry and most people in higher places knew that Harry Potter had a little sister. The teachers in my school knew but none of the students did and I never told a soul. But now I guess everyone will finally find out.

The little compartment was cold. The seats got warmer the longer I sat there, like most things. The fabric seats where soft, but worn out. I'm not surprised to be honest. The amount of years this train has been around, not to mention the fact that thousands of kids have sat in this same chair.

I stared outside the window of the train, my eyes fell upon a black lake, it was so beautiful. It was dark out and the moon shone on the lake. It was truly one of the prettiest things I've ever seen. Suddenly my eyes fell upon a castle, warm light radiating from the windows.

The train came to a halt about 10 minutes later. I grabbed my things and went to leave the train. The cold air hitting my bare skin. I got goosebumps.

I walked out of the train and a woman with an old face, brownish grey hair and a hat on greeted me. She had a diluted Scottish accent.

"Hello, I'm Minerva McGonagall. You must be Kalia Potter. Nice to meet you dear." She said shaking my hand and smiling at me. She wore little oval glasses, and a long dark green cloak like thing. Her hands weren't cold, but they also weren't warm. She seemed nice though.

"Nice to meet you." I said, softly.

"Right, follow me. You've arrived just before dinner dear. Dumbledore is about to give a speech, where he will introduce you and we'll sort you into your house, then you can eat dinner with everyone else." She explained leading me through two very large doors. I stayed silent and she told me to leave my things where they where and that they would be taken to my room. I nodded and she led me through the castle, paintings on the wall greeting me. It was also cold. Not as cold as outside but still quite cold. She stopped in front of two massive doors. I could hear people talking and moving around.

"Don't be nervous dear. Ready?" She said giving me a reassuring smile. I nodded. She pushed the doors open and I saw students all over the hall spin around to meet me. The hall had candles levitating in the air which was beautiful. The ceiling looked like the night sky. It was truly something to behold. I felt my chest tighten at the realization that there where people staring at me.

I tried to find my brother but I couldn't. I was nervous about seeing my brother more than anything. I followed McGonagall to the front of the room. My heart was racing.

Harry

Ron was talking to me about some new chess strategy he had thought of. I was genuinley intrested, but I could hardly hear him because of all the conversations going on around me.
