"Kaz!" I called.
"Yeah?" he called back from the living room.
"We're taking Rover to the dog park. Wanna come?" I asked.
"Sure!" he said.
Lucy and I waited as Kaz got his jacket. "Daddy!" exclaimed Lucy.
"Lucy!" said Kaz.
I watched as he picked up Lucy. "Ready?" he asked.
"Let's go!" I said.
I super-sped us to the dog park. "Mommy! It's Ms. Courtney and Ginger!" exclaimed Lucy taking off towards with Rover on her heels.
"She's adorable." I said leaning onto Kaz.
"She's ours." said Kaz, putting his arms around me.
Skylar P.O.V
After Chase and I dropped Jake, Hannah, and Kylie off at the Academy we headed back to our house with Maya. "Maya, come here." said Chase. "You want to try out your superpowers?" he asked.
"Uperowers." said Maya.
Maya had been using her bionics since she was born, so training them wasn't as necessary.
"Superpowers? Okay. Skylar?" said Chase.
"Maya, your superpower is flight which means you get to fly like a birdie." said Skylar.
Then Maya lifted off the ground. "Oh! Wow! Usually it takes a little longer for them to understand." said Skylar.
Then Maya went left and ran into a bookcase. "Oh my." said Skylar. "This might be that hard part."
