CHAPTER TWO:
regretted decisions."i'll be working with el hopper." the raven hair boy confirmed, earning numerous reactions as the room silenced in a matter of seconds. mr.clarke finally felt a sudden wave of relief washing through him as his lips formed a beaming smile.
millions of different emotions were battling him at the present moment. he felt reassured, tense, defeated, and even if he hated to admit it.....excited.
yes, he felt a feeling of exhilaration interfering with the battle of his other never ending feelings. a part of himself was flustered in realization, knowing that he had agreed to work with the misfit, but that wasn't his concern. it was eleanor hopper which once was related to the brenners, meaning their blood was still related as she was just another generation.but the other part of him knew that deep down, he won't regret this decision, no matter the circumstances he had to face. besides mike announcing his confirmation, her decision also encountered as necessary, meaning he then had to face the enraged el hopper and convince her into agreeing with him.
speaking of that......
el furrowed her eyebrows in disbelief as those words escaped his red lips. how dare he speak for her, choosing her as his partner without her approval?!her will in life was getting exceptionally low as it took her so much self control not to go over to his desk and holler all the dark words that swarmed in her head.

"what else was i supposed to fucking do?!" mike defended, bringing the same tone reciprocally.
"that's eleanor, michael. do you even realize how fucked you are?!" dustin argued. poor el that was brought up in the conversation sat on the end of the row, hearing their bickering crystal clearly, rolling her eyes.
"whatever dustin, cut the bullshit nothing's going to happen!" mike growled as will nodded. deep inside that phrase felt like a deep, fat lie. something definitely is going to happen, without a doubt.
"exactly, she's just a student, not a monster! it might take a while to convince but not that she's going to bite you in the ass!" will added, earning a snort from dustin.
"knock it off" mike rolled his eyes, turning towards his now partner's direction. her head was hung low as her thumbs head her temples. she sucked a deep breath, trying everything but to combust her almost uncomfortable feelings. dustin was right,
