CHAPTER THREE:
shameless glares."wake up kid!! a wonderful tuesday morning it is!"
a muffled groan.
just another day of agonizing classes and interaction. hopper was already frantically knocking at her door, waiting for the drained girl to finally rise from the bed. to el it has felt like a long lasting century, although her journey has only begun.
"i'll be up in a minute!" she informed loud enough for him to hear as it took her body a moment to correspond to the lighted room. as she groggily lifted her frame, her eyes met the clock, signalizing that she was late.
"shit!" she shouted as her golden orbs expanded, rushing to the bathroom. el splashed her face with icy water while scrubbing her teeth with her toothbrush at the same time, attempting to use the time efficiently.
only awoken yet her day was once again cursed.
"fuck fuck fuck..." she repeatedly chanted in distress, rummaging for her uniform. as she spotted a pool of her white blouse and tie coming along with a matching green sweater and dark trousers, she lifted the wrinkled clothes starting to undress.
rapidly tucking in her blouse, el hurried out of the door, grabbing the novel with her as she messily put on her sweater while speeding to her first class.
after climbing a flat and running through two hallways, she finally made it to her history class with ms.wheeler. she is michael's older sister who had graduated gritwaltz and decided to stay and educate the students, even if she was rather young herself. not to mention, nancy wheeler wasn't the cruel, sickening type like her brother. in fact, she was the most accepting wheeler who found common language with everyone she associated with and made her students feel safe.
"today we're going to start our new unit with-" ms.wheeler was interrupted but the slight push of the front door, revealing the breathless brunette.
"well hey, you must be el!" she paused her speech, smiling at the restless girl who lazily smiled back. el witnessed a petite female teacher with cerulean blue eyes and short caramel hair. although she looked nothing like her younger brother, they had similar features such as defined bone structure and the messy ringlets in their hair.
"yes it's me, sorry for being late! i was just-"
"it's okay el, the class has only started anyways. please go take a seat and make yourself comfortable." ms.wheeler softly spoke, pointing at the empty seat in the back of the class. she felt multiple pairs of eyes looking at her direction and secretly snickering to each other.
el tried brushing it off and almost stumbled her way to the last row, earning a few more laughs. her cheeks were tinted red as she finally sat down at the empty seat, burying her head in shame.
"mike! look at your future girlfriend having a bad day, might even go and save her!" dustin snickered, earning a hand slap from his mate.
"will you ever shut the fuck up!" mike growled at dustin, rolling his eyes when looking back at the teacher. he did feel embarrassed having his own sister as an educator, but knew she was righteous and set a good example for his family, unlike their controlling father.
